We were lucky to catch up with Keadi-ann Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Keadi-ann, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Determination , consistency and creativity. Whatever you do in life you must have the drive to keep going forward during the good and bad times. Consistency is an important ingredient. It’s a huge key to staying on track with your business . Creativity is the cherry on top and helps to keep your consumer interested.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Keadi-Ann, most people call me KD. I am the owner of Kdez Closet, which “caters to your fashion need with a unique sense of style”. I am also the brand-new author of the children’s book “Elyot Goes to Earth “. Which is available on all major platforms internationally.
I started my business years ago with an idea that grew into an online boutique. My business at its core makes women feel good by looking good. It’s not just a concept, it’s a well-known fact. When you look good you feel good. My business offers unique pieces in fashion and also services such as- styling, personal shopping , extreme makeovers etc. just to name a few.
What I am most proud of with my business is that people from all cultures ,backgrounds, shapes and sizes love my beautiful jewelry. I cater to everyone! I love people and seeing women smile when they see my accessories means the world to me.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy has been attending networking functions, vending and honestly just being myself. Networking is great for meeting all types of people from different areas of business. It gives you opportunity to work the room. Vending is also great. It combines marketing, selling and Networking at the same time. Last but not least always be yourself. Who you are will shine bright like a diamond and people will gravitate to you if you have a great spirit.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
I would have to say vending at events and social media.
Great events with sizeable foot traffic give opportunity to foster awesome relationships. You have to make the best of it. Even if someone comes by to take a look and not buy anything, still smile and thank them for coming by. There is a 70% chance of them coming back and bringing a friend. Happens to me all the time. Have an attitude of gratitude and be polite.
Content is also your best friend. This is something I am continuously working on. People absolutely enjoy seeing what you’re doing, where you like to eat and what you are wearing.
Social media has created a certain atmosphere for business professionals that’s nothing shorter than amazing. You can post a video and in two seconds someone on the other side of the world can see it. Collaborations are also your best friend. Do it as much as possible. You would be surprised how much it can help your business.
