Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodrick “duke” Robinson
Hi Rodrick “duke”, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Rodrick Robinson, best known as Duke The Guitarist, is an accomplished guitarist/bassist and music director.
Rodrick has worked alongside several rising stars from NBC’s The Voice, American Idol, BET’s Sunday Best and appearances with several mainstream artists.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey definitely has had its challenges. From the beginning stages of building a brand to reach a fan base to being diagnosed with a gastrointestinal disease in 2020. But I continued to push forward to accomplish my goals . I’m extremely thankful for my beautiful and loving wife, support system , artists, producers and endorsers who have stood by me the through it all .
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a multi genre guitarist. I specialize in live performances, music production and music education of several musical genres such as Country,Gospel, Blues, R&B, Pop, Funk, Southern Soul and more.
I’d have to say I’m very proud of all of the moments along the way. I’m thankful for each and every opportunity I’ve had to share my gift.
My ability to navigate different genres and styles has given me a unique edge and diverse workload in the music industry.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Practice, network, patience, be open minded and always remember that’s it’s a constant learning experience.
