We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jessica Arispe a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jessica, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
I started the business in 2018 but knew about it since 2013. These were two different stages of my life 2013 I had no kids I was just trying to figure out how to be healthier and lose weight and figuring out my future in corporate America , 2018 I was I was a mom of 1 definitely started the business because I was desperate to spend more time with my baby. This is why I wish I would’ve started sooner. I wish I would’ve seen this opportunity and not been so afraid of what others might say it. because doing it with a kid it’s not impossible, but it’s a lot harder and I wish I didn’t have to wait till the pain Missing my baby be my driving force.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Jessica and I am from Bolivia born and raised and basically migrated to this country when I was 9 to 10 years old. My immigrant story is pretty sad but at the same time I believe it is what made me to be the strong woman that I needed to be to be where I’m at and to go where I’m going cause I’m not done yet Industrie wellness and health nutrition personally right now on a brick and water store that is called Get Right Nutrition here in miami and it started all through social media when I decided to go from the happy client that it was for four years into being able to become that distributor that was going to help other people with the same products that had completely changed my life now I know my own store. I am part of the top of the company, but I’ve also been successful at helping other 26 Women and men open stores just like I have. I do have one more top one percent in my team that I personally helped and a bunch of different top earners as well , what is my purpose of being able to do in any job that I had not at banking not at AT&T not at Champs none of my jobs allowed me to help in the way I help now most of the jobs you have to be afraid of helping other people and they step over and they take your or something like that here you just help help help and the person that really wants it. It’s gonna make happen with the nutrition part right here to help and change. People lives through nutrition and business opportunity Thing every single day that I get to wake up excited because working hard is tiresome but excited because I truly feel I’m living on purpose. I really love what I do. I really love to show my kids that it is possible that you can find something you love to do every day and be great at it and you can be kind and you can help and you can build people , and not have to step over people crush people to get where you wanna be. My workflow is very crazy. I am a mom of two that has a lot of roses and a lot of different hats I wear, but I do thrive on structure. I thrive on vision most importantly vision and I thrive on teamwork so when I look for someone else that would be part of my team I look for those key characteristics you know teamwork vision they have to have big vision, and they have to believe it as much as I believe in them.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the reasons why I never saw this business opportunity in the four years that I was a client was because I always thought that I wasn’t a peoples person. I was your normal worker that would go to work and not talk to anyone not create relationships I don’t have high school friends. I don’t have middle school friends. I never really rooted connection with people. It was just acquaintances and then whenever I switch my jobs or switch schools, I would never see you again and I was fine with that. I had to learn that not being a person is not something permanent is something you can work on is something that you can buy books to read and help rewire your brain and understand and how to understand people and how to win people and keep them and why is important right to have people like you go to people in your life And only the biggest lessons I’ve learned but I continue to work on

Any advice for managing a team?
The number one advice I can give is having a culture, a culture that you live by that you truly believe on, and that you pass on to people, and huge vision so that they can also create a vision of their own that align with your vision, and therefore whether they’re employees their team members coworkers Have high motivations to do what you guys need to do to reach those goals .
