Kareem “Reemo Meerak” , appreciate you joining us today. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
3Q 2023, became a Satirical Comedic recording artist with my first project called “Back To The Reemo”. Truly, was hyped and amazed about going into this venture. I truly give a whole new level of respect to Music and Recording artists. The thrill is uncanny and the rush of going into the studio to record is like no other, as well as with marketing the product is a workload and a half.
Honestly, wouldn’t change it any other way.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Since entering the Entertainment Industry of April 2006, the journey has been a unique, yet hardworking experience. For majority of my career, I’ve held many titles from Actor, Media Personality, Correspondent, Producer, Executive Producer, Creative Director, A&R, Podcaster, and Filmmaker becoming a Multi-hyphenated talent. Amongst them currently, Acting, Correspondent, and Media Personality are what I am passionate for. Still maintain my productions skills when it comes to Media Publications, and Podcasts I work on that want me apart of their productions staff.
Especially in the 4Q of 2023, when I became one of the producers for a new podcast called;“Think Free Network” with hosts; Mark Elibert, Amber Corine, and Mike Saponora (Three Established journalists in Hip Hop Media, and Media industry), or for Music as an A&R with Worldwide Soundz Records alongside with DJ Chase doing the best to find new talent to work with our productions to make quality music. Even with acting, the time at best must be allocated to focus on strengthening the craft and skillset.
For my Brand; Reemo Meerak Brand, LLC it provides the services within the entertainment industry ranging from graphics design with flyers or promos, filming content, and creative support for small businesses and creative direction. Also, as a brand when I do acting, and media related work. In 4Q 2023, I joined Digiwaxx Media as a Correspondent/Contributor, as well as fusing my platform; Reemo Meerak: The C.U.T.S. (Culture x Urban x Technology x Sports) to add some umph to the blogs and articles I create.
Honestly, at this point in my career I feel I’ve put in work where I’m validated to be on the next level , as well as continue being as consistent with my brand. I do my all to not compare to others, and focus upon what’s best and needed for me to succeed. If I had to say, probably what sets me apart from many is how I compartmentalize within the many layers of my brand, and still be able to function at a high sustainable rate. Most definitely putting a team together in 2023 made it possible for the quality outcome for the year. From working with a publicist (Maria Myraine aka “My-My”) , on productions with my platform (Eric Sullivan aka “Big Vegg”), and Executive Assistant (Elizabeth Charles) who handles the emails and guest appearance requests for my platform , as well as really made things more effective and efficient with that year.
Trust, doing it by yourself will take upon years and time away from you, as well as your scope and aspirations will be limited at best if you can’t put a team together to show you other avenues and lanes on your journey amongst the industry.
I’m proud of how resilient and passionately committed I’ve been over the years, as well as vulnerable enough to accept when things don’t go my way and I haven’t life to continue living for. Don’t get it twisted, I would never change my journey and career on what I’ve embraced through it, but in reality you must not lose focus on your LIFE. Yes, I’ve sacrificed family, friends. and a lot of social time when things started picking up for my brand. When you love what you love as a creative you’re going to have to make sacrifices in your life to continue proceeding. The last 5-6 years, including the Pandemic made me realize of that, and honestly was best it happened because it gave me the opportunity to pivot, as well as focus on understanding that I only have one LIFE, and there’s only 1 ME!!!
Also, when the self care days became more in my routine, the better I was at creating more things within my brand, and the energy was placed better.
Overall, I really want my fan base to increase, as well as my impact to be expanded. Also, happy that I’m understanding my commitment and conviction when it comes to LIFE, and my BRAND.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Honestly, at this point really want my numbers to increase, as well as really close out on Big Deals in 2024. Despite my brand being consistent, but honestly feel it’s been long overdue and deservingly so for my name to be of the press lists, or the opportunity to cover major stories, as well as speak to the top tier people in the culture, and industry.
Also, to continue being a substantial and influential brand.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of what I’ve contributed as being an artist or creative is fulfilling my passion, and continuing working with professionals who are as creative and passionate as I am. The opportunities lead me in my journey, as well as the levels of my connections built from networking and growing quality relationships to achieving goals and keeping my passion balanced.
