One of the most impactful investments I made as a business owner was allocating resources to enhance our online presence and marketing strategy. A few years ago, when the business was established in 2021, our primary focus of business was doing well within our local community, and three years later recognized the need to broaden our reach and attract a larger audience. Our business, which specializes in the Event Industry for Boutique Event Rentals +Bespoke Floristry, has gained a loyal customer base locally in Southern California. However, we realized that in order to scale and thrive in the digital age, we needed to establish a stronger online presence. The decision to invest in our online presence was driven by the realization that our potential customers, even those within our local community, were increasingly turning to the internet for product discovery, inspiration and purchasing decisions. We wanted to ensure that our business was not only visible but also portrayed authentically and attractively online. Invested in a professional website design, focusing on user experience and mobile optimization. Simultaneously, we implemented a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including social media campaigns and search engine optimization (SEO). Also, began actively engaging with our audience through various online platforms. The results have been rewarding and Ashley Designs The Future is ready to take it to the next level this year! The online visibility has increased significantly, leading to a surge in website traffic and online sales. The online investment not only helped us reach a broader customer base but also established our brand as a reputable and trustworthy Company for presence online and in person. The key lesson learned from this investment was the importance of adapting to evolving consumer behavior. By embracing the digital landscape, we positioned ourselves for growth in an increasingly competitive Industry. Absolutely, my entrepreneurial journey has been greatly influenced by various resources that have shaped my management and thinking philosophy. In terms of formal education, attending college and studying subjects like Entrepreneurship, Marketing, International Business, Communication, and Public Relations has provided me with a solid foundation. The theoretical knowledge gained from coursework is complemented by real-world experiences and the continuous pursuit of learning from various resources.

The key is not just to acquire knowledge but to consistently apply and adapt it to the ever-changing landscape of entrepreneurship. Learning is a lifelong journey, and staying curious and open to new ideas is crucial for success in this dynamic field and many other fields and industries.

How’d you meet your business partner?

DESTINY! The story of how Javier and I became business partners is a testament to the power of love, collaboration and shared passion . Our paths first crossed as children, into adulthood and marriage. As a business owner, I represent Ashley Designs The Future, Boutique Event Rentals + Bespoke Floristry, while Javier is the owner of California Craftsmen, LA-based building and fabrication company.

Our skill sets and expertise complement each other as we both get involved in the creative aspects of events, planning, project managing, handling everything from design concepts, through the communication process and graphic presentations. Javier brings his expertise from California Craftsmen in the construction and fabrication side of things, especially for big scale jobs/work.

By combining our strengths, we could offer clients a comprehensive and seamless solution for their events. Between Ashley Designs The Future and California Craftsmen, it is apparent collaborative projects, are worked seamlessly together on various large-scale installations and productions.

Our partnership extends beyond individual projects; we’ve integrated our businesses to work cohesively between projects, installations, and staffing. This collaboration has not only enhanced the quality of our services but also opened up new opportunities to create unique and memorable experiences for our clients.
