I had just moved to Miami Beach and before I left my mother had given me a glue gun. I thought to myself “What in the Hell am I going to do with this?” My mother was an artist in her own right but mainly did craft art and I wasn’t a craft artist or an artist by any means, so I thought the glue gun was a joke, I would most likely never use it but I politely took it and went on my way. After months of trying to pursue a bartender position at one of the many Miami Beach nightclubs and having no luck, I pulled out this glue gun and started gluing objects to this old oak school chair. I was a collector of vintage knick knacks and some furniture, fabrics, memorabilia etc. so I had plenty of items to expierment with. Read more>>

In highschool I stumbled acrossed Etsy and became hooked on the idea of being and independent artist. From an early age, I always excelled in art class and was usually working on multiple craft projects at home, so it only seemed natural for this to stick. Photography became an outlet for me and it wasn’t until 2020, after combing through 70k plus photos I had taken since 2010, that I realized it was time to dip my feet in being a creative and start that with selling photography prints. And here we are! I am answering interview questions within a month or two of opening up a print shop. Read More>>

Ever since my teenage years, I knew I wanted to be an artist full time. If I had to date an exact moment, it would be the time I was gifted some canvas and acrylic paints for Christmas back in 2015. After I managed to sell my first canvas early 2016, I knew I had a shot at being full time with it. Read more>>

I was scouted to walk the runway for a celebrity designer’s fashion show hosted by GRAMMY Awards at the Playboy Mansion when I was in college. The scout that hired me was also a PR Agent and had her own modeling agency. After the show, I followed her to New York City and we ended up working together for a long time. I’ve learned a lot; from runway to photoshoots, from hosting events to casting talents, my early modeling career shaped me into who I am today. And it had pushed me into pursuing acting in the Entertainment Industry. Read more>>

I feel like I knew when I first gained awareness, well at least my soul knew. I believe that any person that is on a creative and artistic path professionally is just allowing themselves to be who they really are. We are all creatives and we all have an artist within us. Those who pursue it professionally are the ones who stayed connected to their inner child. A connection we all long for. Realizing that now is what really made me want to pursue my creative ideas professionally. I am one year into my creative journey, and just a few months in full time. Before going full time, I was serving at multiple restaurants and spending my time working to live, as most do nowadays. But I knew that I did not want that to be my forever. Read more>>

I had always enjoyed drawing and animation has always been a constant source of inspiration for me, such as anime and old Disney movies. I believe sometime during my sophomore year of highschool I knew I wanted to pursue animation as a career path, because at the time shows such as Adventure Time and the Regular Show were gaining popularity in my age demographic. It was incredible because, although a younger audience could watch the shows too, it felt like the show creators were making a great effort to ensure there was a space for teenagers to enjoy it as well. I also had a lot of nostalgia for western cartoons around that time, and as my studies in school began to ramp up I sought comfort in old cartoons I watched when I was younger. Read more>>

I first knew I wanted to pursue a creative path early in my life, though I didn’t fully understand what I was going to do with the skills until the end of high school. In 5th grade, my grandmother gifted me an acoustic guitar for Christmas. My family could never get it out of my hands after that moment. Whether I was in school, or playing sports, my mind was always on when the next time I would get to play would be. Read more>>

My dad bought me a skateboard for Christmas 1986, I didn’t know anything about skateboarding, but I was instantly fascinated by the graphics. From there I discovered Thrasher Magazine, and artists like Pushead, Vernon Courtlandt Johnson, Andy Tekakjian, and John Grigley. I started to try to copy their stuff, but I didn’t really develop my own style until much later. I always had art and design projects going on, but my visual art always took a backseat to my musical projects. I was sometimes in like three bands at a time, so for about fifteen years most of my visual work was band related. Read more>>

When I was in middle school I was really finding my place in the world through art and taking photos, whether I was truly aware of it or not. I started out taking photos on my old Ipod touch and would show my mom. She started to quickly realize that I had an eye and would always be encouraging me to keep taking photos. Growing up, I always remember my mom taking photos. Around birthdays and graduations as I got older, we would dig out bins and bins full of photographs of my childhood, family events, landscapes, my mothers garden, all shot by her. While she never took up photography professionally, I truly believe she pushed some of her desires to do so into me. Read more>>

I’ve been an artist for most of my life. Ever since I was a little girl around 5 years old, I knew that art was something I loved to do. Once I hit my junior/senior year in high school, I began thinking about how to turn my love for art into a career. the idea of doing something that wasn’t in a creative capacity never entered my mind. It was art or nothing lol. Read more>>
