Kindness begets kindness. So, wanted to create a space to share and amplify stories of kindness with the hope that it inspires a chain reaction.

One of the kindest things anyone has ever done for us happened during fig season. We had just introduced a seasonal fig danish, and a regular customer mentioned that he had a large fig tree overflowing with fruit—more than he could possibly eat. The next time he came to our pop-up, he surprised us with a huge basket of the most beautiful golden honey figs, hand picked for us. We had never even seen this variety of fig before, which gets its name from its sweet, honey-like flavor and stunning golden hues. We were in disbelief. Read more>>

Hi! I’m Sam!
The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me?
I was pretty low, I was doing things I shouldn’t have been doing ( extra curricular activities) but the kindest thing is someone who can keep you ground into remind you what your life is about and why you’re here. I told him that I was starting to launch into my art career since I had graduated from UT Arlington at that time and will be having my first solo show (2/9/18). He bought a ticket and while at the show, he was the only one to buy an art piece. After the show, we then discussed how I want to take my art career. That conversation was probably one of the most important ones in my career because from that moment on, he has became one of my biggest supporters in my career. Read more>>

When working in the music business, every single act of kindness, acceptance, gratitude, or generosity stands out to me because there is so much rejection, negativity, non responsiveness, and people saying that they are “going in another direction.” With my general business band The Wood Vibrations, whenever a couple books us for their wedding or a corporation books us for their annual party, it is important to me that we make their events as magical as they are hoping for. These people could have chosen any one of the thousands of bands out there to perform for their big day and they chose us. That means a lot to me each and every time it happens. Read more>>
