Frankly, every boss I’ve had has done the kindest thing of hiring me lol. Every job/position I’ve taken, I’ve felt unqualified for, and each of my bosses took a risk in bringing me on. For whatever reason, they saw potential I think, and moreover, they were patient, thorough, and encouraging in guiding me when I messed up, which was many a time. 11 years ago I was a month behind my rent. I didn’t tell anyone about my issue, not even my family. I had relative back in Oklahoma that was bossing me around about painting her a family portrait for awhile. Eventually I had painted and finished the portrait. And she gave me a check for $1500. I was shocked but felt blessed at the same time. I was able to pay my rent but, the funny thing she knew some how, I was having complication living in a different environment. It’s funny; I’m a business owner but I feel like I’ve spoken about my company ad nauseum lately so it will be a nice change of pace to recount the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me. I consider myself lucky that, while considering this question, several instances come to mind: – The wonderful roommate who told me to keep his security deposit when he moved out while I was between jobs and refinancing my mortage.
