Kindness begets kindness. So, wanted to create a space to share and amplify stories of kindness with the hope that it inspires a chain reaction.

When COVID hit, I was still a brand new business owner, with just a year under my belt. With COVID, I lost all of the shows and events where I would set up to sell. My very successful friend insisted that I bring my jewelry into her popular boutique, so that my sales would not suffer, something she’s not offered any other vendor in her 25 years in business. I’m an immigrant from a small island called Cyprus. Needless to say that I do not have many connections in the United States, let alone in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex. I came here to become a Doctor of Chiropractic which I had completed in April of ’19. Upon graduating, I had to wait about 9 months before I could actually practice due to immigration paperwork. The kindest things for me as an artist come from those who believe in me, who appreciate and support what I do. I think of my practice as threefold. There is the making of art, but this never happens in a vacuum. It is fueled by study and learning, taking in traditions, influences and techniques. And it comes to life by sharing the work and its output. Read more>>

When I first decided to launch out into my business 28 years ago. I didn’t have much money. But I decided to look for a location by faith. I found a building for $280 month. A great location near the local mall. My building was behind a donut shop. The owner Mr. Bull would bring the leftover donuts to my clients. I didn’t have central air or heat. I believe that’s why the price was so affordable! Looking back on that season in my life. I received so many blessings from clients, family and friends! I remember a story that sticks out to me. A single mother of two. Saw what I was trying to accomplish and decided to sow $200 in my business no strings attached! That encouraged me that I made the right decision to leap out on faith! I arrived well on the heels of my two older sisters to be number three in what would become a family of eight children born of the same Mom and Dad over the course of twenty years. I was the consummate tomboy. I hated dresses, dolls, “sugar and spice and everything nice.” My parents thought this was adorable and were most supportive. They even indulged me with a full-on cowboy outfit, chaps, fringed vest, boots, hat, holster and guns. My nickname was ‘Dirty Face Mulligan”. Read more>>

The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me involves so many people and backstories that I don’t even know where or how to begin. I will start by saying that none of these people had to do what they did. It is thanks to all of them (in addition to my mother and sisters who are my core support) that I am here today answering your questions. Read more>>

Believed in me! I grew up as a native Floridian in the Sunshine State. I have always loved cooking and grew up learning from my grandmother and mother’s love of feeding people through the care and artistry of homemade goodies. Feeding people delicious, healthy and satisfying treats became how I spread my own special brand of Sunshine. Granola became one of those treats. Read more>>

When I jumped into the music industry.. I truly had know clue what I was in for. When I started back 2017 I noticed that I invested in artists more than they invested in themselves. I was seen as a mother figure . My business associate at the time introduced me to someone he looked as a bonus father . Well his bonus father had over 50yrs in the game . He was Roame Lowry Known as Maze from the legendary band “Frankie Beverly &Maze” he later became our mentor. Read more>>
