This was beneficial to the cllient at the time because while she was seeing accountability there was a root that was causing her not to fully grasp the healing, joy, and peace that she so rightly deserved. Managing stress and burnout is do-able, it’s all about starting small with things you can control and leaning into self-care in ways that make sense for you, through either small or big changes. It could look like not answering emails after 6 pm, taking a few short breaks to catch your breath during your work day, having that conversation you’ve been avoiding so you don’t have to worry about it anymore, or finding moments to do something frivolous simply because you love it.
