We asked some brilliant folks to tell us about the best advice they’ve ever given to a client and have highlighted some of the responses below.

The best advice a client has ever given me was to stop putting myself last in practice. It was something I had to work on but it helped me to prioritize my health and self to be more beneficial to business mentally and physically. I am a natural people pleaser to a point it was draining me mentally and physically. My client whom I have become super close with noticed the change. I guess it was very apparent I was struggling during services to keep a genuine smile on my face. Read more>>

Oftentimes my advice to the client is to be patient and keep it simple, as true progress takes time and effort. Get back to the basics of eating real, whole foods, get daily movement, sweat often, and hydrate with minerals. Those basics are foundational to health regardless of the diagnosis. We’ve gotten so far from the basics as a society focused on fast food, desk jobs, and a pill for every ill. Most of my clients have been through the medical system and feel totally overlooked and ignored. Read more>>

Best advice I gave a client was 1. Trust me and 2. Start a good medical grade skin care regimen. I had a client come to me to see if I could help her with her acne. She has been seeing a medical professional for years and they had her or an oral medication but her acne still wasn’t clearing up. They told her seeing an aesthetician wouldn’t help improve and also told her to use a wash over the counter. Her first treatment with her I treated her and put her on a medical grade skincare regimen and by her next treatment a month later her acne was 80% clear. Read more>>

The best advice I’ve ever gave a client is to wholeheartedly take care of your mind, spirit, and body. Often, we are hustling and bustling on-the-go daily while forgetting to tend to the needs of our own mind, spirit, and body. Do you often hear “I don’t have time to do…” or “I don’t have the money to…” ?Well, yes we all have time. We just choose how we want to spend our time. We all may have some spare change after paying bills, but not always do we spend it on things that will actually benefit our mind, spirit, and body. Self care is important to our daily lives to help us live better and longer, stress less, and lower the risk of illness. Read more>>

I work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and one of the best client advice I provided when my clients are struggling with anxiety, relationships, boundaries, self-worth… is that you have to know your identity foremost because it affects every other aspect of you life: personal, emotionally, relationally, physically, etc… A lot of people’s symptoms do not understand that the root of all this stems from not knowing their identity: who you are, how you do life/relationships, attachment style, etc.. The best advise I have ever given a client and still do use as part of every consultation is to look at the entire picture and not just one small aspect. Elixir Aesthetics is a medical spa, hormone and weight loss clinic and there is a reason for that. When clients come in for skin care there is usually more issues than just their skin care regimen. Factors such as hormones, diet, hydration, inflammation etc. Read more>>

When clients enter the health and wellness field, many of them find themselves dissatisfied about various aspects of our lives. However, we manifest our discontent in the way we view ourselves, particularly our outward appearance. Instead of setting a weight goal, I ask clients to think of three goals they have that have nothing to do with their appearance. Read more>>

Best client advice I ever gave was to heal past their hurt, feel their pain and unleash the brokenness so that they can become the best version of themselves that allows them to move on and recreate a life they love. Many women post a divorce or break up struggle with finding themselves again after being heartbroken. They benefit by becoming healthy, reclaiming their power, knowing their worth, setting aside time for them, and starting healthy habits such as journaling and more that results in them feeling hopeful, positive and ready for healthy relationships starting with themselves. The best general advice I feel I can give to a client in Colorado is to invest as soon as possible. Our values are increasing at at a pace faster then most of the country and it is one of the best ways to fight inflation is to purchase a home or investment property. Right now it’s appropriate to say marry the house and date the rate because the values will likely continue to increase with interest rates declining in the future a client can buy now and refinance in the future saving themselves even more money down the road.
