Given the magical potential of legacies, we wanted to support and foster conversations around legacy building and below you’ll find some of those conversations.

I’m still a young creator, so thinking about a legacy now seems ambitious, but the current 2023 state of the animation industry has brought into sharp focus the kind of creator I want to be and the kinds of stories I want to put out into the world. Stories have been a vessel of communication of ideas for thousands of years, from teaching parables to cautionary fairy tales, so I think being mindful of what my stories say is important. Right now the industry doesn’t seem so concerned with the messaging going out to the audience. Read more>>

The type of legacy I want to build is an immortalized legacy. When I’m gone people will be admire by my work ethic and how many hats I wore in the many different fields I’m involved in. I want to be remembered for my ambition and my desire to lead by example. I want people to know that I did everything with love and always spoke with passion and never was a shady businessman. I want people to remember that all I built was done for my wife and kids and to create generational wealth. Read more>>

I recently lost my father rather unexpectedly. He was 85, so it wasn’t that unexpected, but it was still quite a shock. As I put together his obituary, I was challenged to share his life and legacy in just a few paragraphs. My dad had a CV of over 33 pages of publications, awards, and accomplishments as well as a loving family he left behind. For my legacy, I want to build into my children the desire to give back to the community they live in, to be kind to others, and to love their families. Read more>>

The legacy that champion cleaning service will leave being compassionate to our employees showing that we care building up their self-esteem, in a way that they’re unaware of giving them hope for the future that they can’t start a business of any kind, any sort, but mainly believing in the Lord Jesus Christ to guide them in their every day decisions. The long-term goal will be to convert to a franchise where it would be a one stop commercial cleaning business carpet, window, stripping/waxing janitorial company to help support minority owned businesses Read more>>

When I’m gone I want to be known for two things. 1 empowering others to never give up on their dreams, and 2 making dope music! I want to use the platform that I’ve built for myself to elevate my community and those closest to me. Music has allowed me to do things that “normal” people wouldn’t necessarily have the opportunity to do and have access to things people may not normally have access to. Read more>>

My passion comes from hardships, abuse, and evil. I often get asked why I am Human Trafficking Activist and a freedom fighter, and my answer is and will always be “I want to be the person I never had. I will never again be silent.” I was raised with a father who bought and abused girls for his pleasure. Growing up with a father who saw women and girls as no more than bodies and dolls, I became a victim and a doll myself. Read more>>
