I think more than having something I’m remembered for I just want to be remembered. But if I had to choose something to be remembered by it would be that I always stayed true to myself. Obviously as humans we evolve but the core of who I am will never change. No matter the situation or environment. Being remembered because of something I created musically would obviously be amazing, but it would be more of a plus. Icing on the cake if you will. Read more>>

This is particularly a question that has been heavy on my mind for a long while. For the past few years, in the midst of extreme hardship and loss, I have thought deeply about my life, and what I truly am here for. They say that everyone has a purpose here in this life, but outside of the generalized statement, I like to think that everyone I encounter is for a reason, and has a purpose in my own life. My aim is to share the lessons I’ve learned in life so that people can become the best versions of themselves. Long after I am gone, my prayer is that the people I’ve impacted can pass those ideals along to the next generation. Read more>>

That’s a question I’ve never really thought about, so thank you for asking! I would love for people to resonate with my artistic creations (preferably in this lifetime, but generations later, works too). But more than anything, to me, success is living life to the fullest, with love, joy and gratitude. If I can inspire people to live knowing they can do whatever they set their minds and hearts to, then that is the legacy I want to leave. Read more>>

On a personal level I hope to be remembered as someone with interesting stories, who was nice to be around. I hope I’ll be remembered as a good friend, a loving mother and partner. I love to talk, but I also love to listen. If you listen more than you talk, you actually learn a thing or two, instead of just hearing yourself say something you obviously already know. I love personal stories and unique memories. It’s all about what you take away from this human experience we all share, but take in from vastly different angles. Read more>>

Through my small business Camelia Bakes, I aim to bring visibility to the Filipino culture and our cuisine. I make desserts primarily using popular Filipino flavors such as ube, pandan, mango, and calamansi — flavors that I grew up eating and loving. Frankly, I want to transform the human “mind.” I feel like humanity is bumping up against a glass ceiling: trying to understand a world far more complex than our language and mental models currently support. For instance, we understand 3-dimensional “space” and we understand “time” but we can’t even grasp Einstein’s 4-dimensional “space-time.” How the hell are we going to understand n-dimensional space which is how our hyperconnected world actually works? When the term legacy is mentioned, depending on who mentions it, legacy can mean different things. Legacy…what a scary yet interesting topic to discuss. When I think about my legacy, I think about my late mother and her legacy she left with me. She was a business owner as well and she stood strong on her morals and rules. I carry the same amount of professionalism my mother had and I think this is why I’m currently proving people wrong and constantly moving forward. I want people to believe that you can do things the right way and lead your life with good intentions and kindness. You don’t have to compete with each other. Read more>>
