Our community is fortunate to have so many brilliant, insightful entrepreneurs and creatives and so many of them have front row, ground level seats that allow them to see emerging trends before the so-called experts, industry leaders, etc. We wanted to create a space to connect members of our community where they could share these insights on trends and opportunities they are seeing.

One really big change in my field (and many others, recently) is the introduction of artificial intelligence. One reason I love this field is because there’s a very, very high limit on learning capabilities. You could go your entire life practicing some form of media as your career path and still find new ways to accomplish a task. That makes the journey really important to me, almost more than the destination. Learning throughout the field Read more>>

Trends, that is what most of the fashion industry consists of! I find it quite fascinating that trends have such a influence on what we buy as buyers. Honestly, I’ve noticed quite a few trends that are making waves right now in wedding photography. Here are a few I’m really excited about: 1. Candid and Documentary-Style Photography: More and more couples want those real, unscripted moments over the traditional posed shots, and I’m all for it! They’re looking for authenticity, and I love it because that’s where the real magic happens—when people are truly in the moment. -Opportunities: For me, it’s a chance to really stand out. I get to focus on those emotional, raw moments that tell the unique story of each couple. The less scripted, the better! Read more>>

One of the biggest trends I am seeing in purchasing Miami real estate is the desire to buy a property with the purpose of doing short term rentals. Miami is a major tourist destination, known for its beaches, vibrant nightlife, cultural diversity, and events like Art Basel and Miami Music Week. The city consistently attracts both domestic and international visitors, creating huge demand for short-term vacation rentals. As a result, investors see Airbnb as a lucrative opportunity to capitalize on the city’s booming tourism industry. Read more>>

One of the biggest trends I’m seeing in digital business ventures, especially in real estate and marketing, is the integration of AI and automation in every facet of operations, from customer service to personalized marketing campaigns. This shift is revolutionizing industries by making them more efficient, data-driven, and scalable, but it also presents new challenges. For instance, in one of my projects, we were working on a property launch that involved both a digital strategy and physical presence. We implemented AI tools to analyze buyer preferences and behaviors, which allowed us to create hyper-targeted ad campaigns. Using AI-driven insights, we didn’t just place generic ads but crafted specific narratives that resonated with each segment, which increased engagement significantly. Read more>>

Some of the biggest trends I’ve been seeing in the beauty sphere is a shift in focus on User Generated Content (UGC). For example, when I create a video, I’m focused on how I feel as a first impression in terms of the product experience. This form of content creation is different where it takes into account the sensory, visual details the product does for the person. The opportunities are that it makes content creation more open and less focused on the likes/follows. I love seeing the focus shift to experiences, community building, and impact. Read more>>

Right now it is very common for Austin and the surrounding areas to be remodeling their homes and adding value to their properties. Many design trends that are trending right now are mixed metals and adding wood elements to your design. We appreciate all of the opportunities to be able to make something old and outdated and completely transform it into something modern and functional. For example, we just designed a Home in Cedar park, Texas it was predominantly brown from 20 yrs ago.. Our client had excellent taste in modern vintage and from there we added more off whites, creams, bronze, black, and silver to make the home up to date. It came out so beautiful and was such a fun journey to be apart of. I would highly recommend buying a home that needs design and remodeling, this will help save money at buying and add more bank to your pockets at your time to sell! :) Read more>>

As a society, we’re more aware than ever of the toll alcohol takes on the body, even in small doses. We’re seeing the non-alcoholic market boom both internationally and here in the U.S., alongside the rise of the “Cali sober” lifestyle, where people are swapping out alcohol for more natural, less harmful alternatives like cannabis and mushrooms. I was taught, the strongest brands are the ones that analyze conventions, identify tensions, and solve said tension with something new. Our mobile phones keep us tethered to work, news, and life for 16 hours a day, ratcheting up our anxiety levels. By the end of the day, we’re craving real moments to unwind before bed. Sure, non-alcoholic cocktails or beers like Guinness Zero may taste lovely, but they don’t quite offer the relief people are genuinely seeking. Read more>>

Eight years ago, after more than thirty years in the events business, I started looking for better ways to communicate with my vendors. I came across Joy Of Text, a plug-in that pairs with WordPress sites. Upon using it, I immediately saw the power of short message service (SMS) – also known as texting – for the events space. One day, we had a major, last-minute change to an event we were producing and the entire load-in process had to be changed. We were able to quickly reach the five hundred vendors on our list to notify them of the change. Things went flawlessly. If we were to have used email, it’s likely four hundred and ninety-nine of them wouldn’t have gotten the information in time. But Joy Of Text plug-in sent a text message to vendors with the new set-up details and it worked. I realized we were on to something big and instantaneous. Read more>>

One of the biggest trends in design right now is undoubtedly the integration of AI-driven tools. They’re transforming workflows by allowing designers to generate and iterate on ideas quickly, making rapid prototyping more accessible. When I used to work for Tencent back in China on branding projects for their video streaming platform, AI tools helped our team explore new ideas and generate desired assets or effects, almost like having a creative assistant. Of course, there are some concerns, like over-reliance on AI leading to overly generic design outcomes. And there’s also the concern about job displacement, especially for entry-level roles. Ethical questions around originality and ownership arise when using AI-generated content. Still, if we use AI thoughtfully, it can free us from mundane tasks and let us focus on the strategic, human side of design. The key is to blend AI’s capabilities with our creativity to push boundaries while keeping the authenticity that sets great design apart. Read more>>
