Our community is fortunate to have so many brilliant, insightful entrepreneurs and creatives and so many of them have front row, ground level seats that allow them to see emerging trends before the so-called experts, industry leaders, etc. We wanted to create a space to connect members of our community where they could share these insights on trends and opportunities they are seeing.

Getting people off of harsh acne treatments and medicine that can effect their overall skin and gut health. Our skin and body is always communicating with us so it is important for us to listen. A lot of beauty treatments serve as a band-aid when our bodies are screaming for help. Every part of our body is communicating with us such as soft nails can be something wrong with our lungs, or fungus can mean gut health. Acne, rosacea and redness are usually signs of gut health and of course facials and skincare can help but we also like people to test to see if they’re allergic to anything. especially gluten and dairy. There are so many other ways our bodies communicate with us, these are just a few. Also skincare and perfumes can have harsh ingredients that can effect hormones and immune system so it is important to have clean skincare. Read more>>

One of the biggest trends of seen make its way back around is the “flared/ stacked” pants. I like the style of them and have made profit off of the trend coming back around. I truly do not have any concerns, but do see great opportunities in this trend simply because I can take anyone’s favorite pair of pants and flare them within an hour. My personal story is quite brief but the first time I flared my pants a customer called me 30 minutes after I posted mine and asked me to do it (flare) to his 5 pairs which was a great boost to my confidence that I was taking the right steps for my craft. I am a wedding photographer who specializes in photographing couples who ski on their wedding day- alternative weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and are only going to continue to grow. In recent years elopements have become more mainstream, creating a shift in the wedding industry and giving couples more freedom to celebrate the way they want. The pandemic caused the industry to evolve even more. Since so many couples had to change their plans or get creative as to how to celebrate, it shook up the standard for what a wedding looks like. It gave people permission to derive from the traditional ballroom-wedding format and rethink how they want their day to be. Whether that be focusing on a small guest list, having their ceremony virtually accessible, incorporating their favorite activity or hobby into their day, or having an intimate ceremony with a larger party afterward, countless options became more mainstream. So, here’s the tea: One of the biggest trends I’m seeing right now is the shift towards authentic, story-driven branding. And let me tell you, I am here for it!
I remember when I first launched my business, all polished and professional – but, honey, it was as dry as toast! No flavor, no personality. I was all about playing it safe, following what everyone else was doing. But guess what? It wasn’t working. My brand was getting lost in the sea of sameness. Read more>>

Working in advertising, we’re a the service of brands who’ve been blinded by their need to maximize social media views in the name of brand recognizability, but aren’t taking into account what they’ll be recognized for. Simply mirror people’s feeds— either through influencers or low budget campaigns to mimic the look and feel of the “real” world— can actually harm a brand as they become part of the noise rather than sharing a clear message that breaks through that. One of the biggest trends in sports media over the last few years has been an emphasis on versatility. For decades, the norm was to specialize in one area (broadcast, journalism, marketing, photography, social media, video, etc) and put all of your focus into that. In recent years, it’s become a necessity to have multiple areas of expertise. Most platforms want you to be able to create content in a variety of ways and that made me expand my content. I think this trend has a positive impact on the industry for the most part but the argument could be made that the quality suffers at times because of it. Read more>>
