Having new or innovative ideas is essential to pushing the world forward and so we asked the community to share stories of the most innovative things they’ve done in their career. Our hope is to inspire folks who think only scientists or tech-wizards can innovate – innovation is possible for everyone, regardless of job title or function, industry or geography.

However, one of the most innovative things I’ve done in my career is create The Elevated Elixir, a lifestyle brand highlighting adventures in zero proof cocktails with a side of self-care. I used to meet monthly with a friend that had a similar mindset and work goals to discuss our wins, losses and to share ideas of how we could improve. The most innovative thing I have done in my career was to help breastfeeding moms amid the baby formula shortage. The nationwide baby formula shortage has shown no mercy in a mother’s ability to feed her baby. I have witnessed mothers struggle to provide proper nourishment for their children because they are not producing enough breastmilk to feed their babies, and the formula is tough to come by. Knowing this, I decided to make lactation cookies that help moms produce more breastmilk to feed their babies. I make the cookies and give them away to the moms for free. I have gotten an outpour of support for this initiative, and moms have been able to produce more milk for their babies. Read more>>

I created a festival “Rare Dreamz Fest” I came up with the idea based on what I envisioned. A festival that members if the community can attend that’s family friendly. A safe space for mental health. Which also benefits high school students that attend vocational schools specifically. It’s hard to keep the arts alive in schools sometimes . Art helps people.
