Having new or innovative ideas is essential to pushing the world forward and so we asked the community to share stories of the most innovative things they’ve done in their career. Our hope is to inspire folks who think only scientists or tech-wizards can innovate – innovation is possible for everyone, regardless of job title or function, industry or geography.

An innovative thing that I’ve done over the course of my career was create my own clothing brand “DJ 23 Merch”. My clothing brand was created to promote my DJ business and market my brand to clients nationally. First, I got my name trademarked and copyrighted. Once I got the proper licenses and paperwork, I began to get T-shirts printed with my logo on the front. Everywhere I worked, I would sell shirts and eventually people wanted more merchandise. Something innovative I’ve done since beginning Dream Cosmetics 3 years ago has been creating our Vegan Hair Serum. We use natural fruit, vegetables, and herbs that you consume in your everyday lives along with solar energy from the sun. This technique still blows me away every time I talk about it. While this is an innovative way to create hair products, it has a purpose behind it.
