I remember it like it was yesterday, working in a dealership and having your boss saying that you have “potential” but not allowing you to grow as an individual in your career field. I was the only female in my department and my boss sees all the hard work I put in and more and still had the nerve to let me that I needed to do more while my coworkers were doing the bare minimum. From that day I was like I can’t live like this and changed my field to a certified nurse assistant. Read more>>

I was called to the emergency department in the middle of the night to consult on patient that needed to be taken emergently to the operating room. The patient was critically ill, septic and needed a laparotomy for a bowel perforation. I had seen this many times in my years as a Nurse Practitioner & general surgery first assistant, but this time it was different for me. I walked out of the patient’s room and started questioning what was happening in the outpatient world that such drastic measures needed to take place to save this life. Read more>>

I was “successfully” setting goals and reaching them, getting the credentials, getting the education, moving in the spaces that I thought I wanted, but in that moment I realized I had no control over my professional circumstances. The defining moment in my career happened for me after the pandemic. I was working part time at “The Happiest Place on Earth” as a face character, and part time as an Esthetician at my friends wellness spa. There were several defining moments along the course of my life that helped shape and define where I needed to be, and what exactly was my calling. At 19 years old I moved to London, England to begin my education. It was in London, and the subsequent years there that helped shift my perspective of a more global world, that all though one can point out all the differences between the other, we are very much linked together with so very much in common. I would say one of the most defining moments in my professional career outside my divine rerouting from my plan to walk the path of a psychologist to creating my own path as a life coach & healer would be my experience with aligning my pricing & my worth/value. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. I realize what I went through before, justified to prepare me for these defining moments, when I come to the defining moments and I can look at the other moments, and I realize if I had not gone through that I would not have been ready for this.
