Leaders in the herbal industry were beginning to openly explore what it would look like to source and process herbs domestically—right here in the U.S. It reminded me of the early 2000s, when organic produce was still a tough sell—more expensive, less understood, but driven by a clear purpose rooted in quality and sustainability.
