Stories are one of the most powerful ways to learn because they allow us to understand at a deeper level. One of the most important things an business owner can do is help their clients win and so we wanted to create a space where the community can learn from each other’s experiences of how they’ve helped their clients succeed.

In 2023, I was vending at a hospital in the Bronx. One of the customers was a psychologist and she came to my table looking to see which crystal and piece of jewelry she would connect with to purchase. Because I am a medium, I offered to channel for her to see which crystal she needed at that time. She welcomed the channeling and told me her name. Right away, I shared with her that Malachite was a crystal that she needed. I showed her a Malachite necklace that I’d recently made and she loved it immediately! Read more>>

In March of 2023, I led an all women’s hike up to Strawberry Peak in the Angeles National Forest. At the end of this hike I had several women come up to me and tell me why they had come. One woman in particular had carpooled with me back down to the meet up spot in La Cańada Flintridge, told me that she would not have imagined in her lifetime that she would have ever been able to complete such a challenging peak, especially in snowy conditions. She explained that her upbringing and cultural expectations had told her that women were expected to take few risks, were weak, and were not capable in the outdoors. As a mother and a wife, she had spent her time fulfilling these roles and making sure she did everything for her kids and her husband. She rarely did anything for herself until she discovered hiking. After her first hike she immediately fell in love. So she started hiking with friends but she always went on easy hikes, opting to keep it safe so that she would not make her family worry. But her desire to do more was like an itch she needed to scratch. So she saw that I was going to lead a hike up to one of the peaks that is on the Six Pack of Peaks Challenge — a well-known self-paced hiking and trail running challenge up six iconic Southern California mountains. She signed up for the hike even if she knew there was going to be snow on the ground. This made her family extremely worried and yet she persisted, convincing them that she would be safe despite the sketchy conditions. She felt confident that the list of requirements given for the hike would be sufficient to keep her safe, and she somehow managed to convince her family that she would be OK. Read more>>

In my journey spanning over two decades as a real estate professional, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of families through the pivotal moments of buying and selling homes. It’s challenging to pinpoint just one success story because each journey has been unique and fulfilling in its own way. But there’s a common thread in these stories that resonates deeply with me: the joy of helping first-time buyers embark on their path to long-term growth and prosperity. Read more>>

I am thrilled to share an inspiring customer success story that truly embodies the transformative power of our services. Our client, a highly accomplished Vacuum Engineer, approached us with a compelling dream – to obtain a U.S. green card. After discussing our clients background, educational history, and employment history, we advised him that the best route would be through the EB2 National Interest Waiver Petition. His aspiration was not only to live and work permanently in the United States but also to pursue his passion for vacuum engineering and venture into his other passions, being the realms of quantum computing and mechanics. I had a couple that booked at Heritage Park in Calgary for her wedding venue. She was notified after booking that her date would fall on ‘Alberta Day’ , meaning the wedding location would be opening its doors to a mass amount of people. Originally the couple was told it would be a private event since the park didn’t open until after the time of their ceremony, however there was 20,000 people that flooded the park that day! I could sense the couple (who I didn’t meet until the day of), were feeling stressed. The parking alone took approximately an hour to get into for parking, which resulted in guests being late. I always arrive a few hours before any wedding to ensure I take into consideration any possible hiccups such as parking like this day and the crowds. Read more>>

Energy is divine, and when we slow down to observe the flow of energy, we start to realize that the universe is working on our behalf by presenting experiences and opportunities for us to be in alignment with our path. This reflection is a result of a success story I’m excited to share. A tale of two success stories, is what I tell myself when I think about this customer. For the sake of privacy, we’ll refer to him as Light. Read more>>

I have helped so many creatives receive proper credit and payment for their intellectually property. There are so many scenarios I could go into detail on. The few specifically that mean the most are when our company gets a new client (Producer/Loop-maker) on the team, and they tell us about a song that used their melody or loop and they never got paid or credited. These clients most always feel like they would never be able to get through to a major artist or Label and feel helpless. Seeing the client find a sort of motivation and little spark in their tone knowing that we are offering to help them get their proper credit is something I cannot duplicate in any other business that I am apart of. We have Dozens of loop makers in the US and oversees in the UK/Germany/South Korea/etc that we have been able to collect Millions of dollars in Advances and Fees for in the past few years. There is no better feeling than telling a client that we just secured a producer agreement with a 5 figure advance that will be coming their way. We have seen so much life change, clients quit their day jobs to pursue music full time, get their families out of bad situations etc etc. It is truly a blessing to be apart of this model in an industry that is normally so hard to penetrate for people like our clients. We hand design embroidered and print Clothing & Apparel, Adult to Baby. In the past six months we have begun offering personalized print and embroidered products. The challenge came when a customer requested a long sleeve shirt with not one nor two designs in mixed embroidery and print colors but three designs, two in the front and back with a third on the sleeve. She explained that her group specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy and the turtle is their mantra for patient wellness. She also needed this done quickly. Could I create this for her? Somehow I would figure this out, Racing through my mind as she’s waiting for my answer was this: 1. never commit to fulfill an order if you can’t make it happen and 2. satisfied customers are the basis of growing a successful business. Imhotep Simba started the program when he was seven years old. His mother said he had behavior problems, would not listen and wanted to hang with the wrong crowd. He came to the program on a consistent basis but living in a rough area in West Baltimore made some poor choices. He stayed in the program until age 18 and went on to Coppin State University and graduated. He wanted to visit other countries so we connected him with the Peace Corps where he served in Ecuador for two years. Imhotep continues to help me on Saturdays and he brings his son. He is currently working at the Annie E. Casey Foundation and will be starting graduate school soon. Read more>>

In the initial meetings with my clients, it is important for me to ask open ended questions that allow my clients to elaborate and open up about what is important to them. Many times my cilent has an idea of what they want, but don’t know how to interpret or execute their ideas. I had a client who once told me they love the “modern” interior design look. The way I see style, is that everything is subjective to interpretation. So to help me understand what their idea of modern is, is to show me a few of their favorite images of modern rooms they like for inspiration. When they sent me these images, I was able to see patterns of the mid century modern look with some eclectic touches. They didn’t know the differences of modern styles, but that is my job to figure out and provide my client with a perspective in their style they didn’t know they loved, individually, and enhance/customize those styles to their home. This practice was important to set the foundation of this project and have a clear direction for their entire home design. He was very impressed at this first initial observation I made, because it was one of the most important ones that would essentially be hours or days of work I would be designing their home around. I think in any line of work, what makes a successful business is not only being a good listener, but also asking the right questions. As simple as this sounds, this could be the difference between the client hiring a different interior designer or having a long term client relationship. Read more>>
