Stories are one of the most powerful ways to learn because they allow us to understand at a deeper level. One of the most important things an business owner can do is help their clients win and so we wanted to create a space where the community can learn from each other’s experiences of how they’ve helped their clients succeed.

I had a client (who was a personal friend I had known for years) who was having an extremely difficult time in her life. This was a beautiful, intelligent, loving, kind, honest woman who was a mother of 5, a business entrepreneur who had built several business to 6 and 7 figures, yet she was in an extremely toxic and abusive relationship. This caused her to have so much added stress that she ended up hospitalized several times, feeling completely burnt out, and her ex spent all their money that he put her in hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt. I remember working with her and sensing how low and vulnerable her spirit was. How deeply hurt and heartbroken her heart was to devoting her life, heart, body, to a man who had tarnished that, and the deep pain she felt for herself and her precious, innocent, children. About a year ago, I got an email from a movie studio located in Texas. Lost Maples Productions. They were in the process of editing “Joe Haladin: The Case of The Missing Sister,” their latest film. They were struggling with their current visual effects artist, so they asked me if I knew how to do visual effects. I told them my experience level with it, and they gave me a shot to do it. I spent countless hours behind the computer making sure I could get it just right so I don’t let them down. Finally, when I finished, I sent it back to them. Their response was overwhelming to me. They were super happy with how it turned out. The movie producer raised my payment past the agreed price, and informing me that “I will be his VFX artist for as long as he is in the movie business.” The lesson I learned from this was that if you work hard, and if you are honest with your work, blessings will come, as well as more opportunities. I recently I’ve had to Actors ( clients/customers) return to our studio after having to leave due to struggling with issues. One of them was struggling with issues surrounding the pandemic, and the other was struggling with continuing issues of substance abuse. Both of them have recently returned, and both expressed to me, almost identical reasons for returning to our studio. They both said they had been trying for quite some time to return to our studio because it was their happy place! Being able to provide a safe and happy place for Actors to practice and learn, their craft is paramount to me as an acting coach and studio owner. More importantly, to have two human beings, feel that myself, and our studio is their happy place in the aftermath of such huge struggles, is so unbelievably rewarding and humbling! Read more>>

I would estimate that more than 75% of my business comes from referrals. This is a testament to the robust relationships I’ve cultivated with my clients. I’ve consistently provided them with valuable guidance and assistance throughout their projects, prioritizing their best interests over immediate profitability for myself. This approach has not only earned their trust but also reinforced the assurance that they are in the hands of a genuinely honest and dependable partner. Read more>>

This might seem like it is just all about a pretty space or a magazine ready home but the benefits of organization encompasses way more than that. You see, clutter and chaos in your home actually impact your well being and can contribute to anxiety, depression, and overwhelm; it can impact relationships inside the home, it can impact finances- you buy things you know you have but cannot find, you misplace bills and dont pay them on time, etc. The list goes on and on about how organization can improve our lives. As an Aesthetician one of the most rewarding things about my job is helping people feel confident in their skin. I once had a Mom bring her teenage daughter to me who was suffering from Acne. The girl had only recently started experiencing acne within the last 6 months due to a new medication she was taking. She had tried many over the counter options with no noticeable change. They had gone to see a Dermatologist who had prescribed some topical medications but were making the teen girls skin too sensitive, dry and peeling. When I consulted with the Mom and daughter, they both seemed so frustrated and defeated with the situation. Read more>>
