There are many stories that makes me smile and Most of these stories are about my clients who are of an older age, lost a considerable amount of strength and are able to regain it becoming more independent, doing their daily activities with less effort. I was hired once by a lady who wanted me to train her 86 year old mom who had troubles with balance due to age, past surgeries (one being on the heart) and lost some strength by not being very active. We started working together and some weeks later I got a very positive feedback from the daughter saying her mom was more energetic, confident and having less trouble to walk. A few years ago, I delivered my first keynote speech for the YWCA Activist and Agitators Event. As I was finishing up my talk I told the attendees to remember to put their own oxygen mask on first before helping anyone else. There was a server at the event that was so touched she pulled me to the side and said that she was going to go to the Hopsital that night just to get an IV of drugs to put her to sleep because her life was in such disarray, but because she heard me speak she decided to take back her home and regain control of her life with no trip to the hospital.
