My 1st job in the field of Physical Therapy. I was in my early 30’s, Let me just say, I had no idea that my entire life was forming for my career from the age of 14. This would be my warm welcome to the Health & Wellness World. How I got this 1st job in my field was one of my moms friends, recommended I talk to the Physical Therapist she was currently going to; for a job. I made an appointment with Larry Ho of Ho Rehabilitation. I walked in with training from the Massage School I recently attended. I was Certified, having had Anatomy; Sports Massage; Lymph Drainage; and Swedish Massage. I was also teaching a Kinesiology Class at Cal State Los Angeles. I had an A.A and B.A though not in Kinesiology or Health. Larry Ho looked at my resume and gave me a job offer immediately and I actually said, I’d think about it and left. A few days later, I accepted. I should have done my research, Larry Ho is quite famous in the PT world. I don’t think I had a goal for this job at the time. Read more>>

I was sweating my leggings off, winded AF and about to start the cool down to a sixty minute Saturday morning cycling class, when the students started moseying down the hall in their flip flops with yoga mats in tow. It was my sign. “I MADE IT.” The hardest part was over and I now got to kick off my spin shoes, cool down and go enjoy some yoga or a smoothie and my walk home. Didn’t matter, the work was done and it was Saturday. Read more>>

I’m from Colorado, born and raised. I was raised on a small sustainable farm. My family worked hard to grow and raise what we would eat, including ethical meat, eggs, milk, cheese, and seasonal produce. So, I guess you could say my first job in the field of pregnancy and birth began when I was a child. Read more>>

I started getting into drugs and alcohol at the age of 12/13 I found a group of people who “accepted” me. Later to find out in life the only person who needs to accept you is you. Anyhow, this life turned into some vanity you become the “cool” person selling drugs, doing drugs. Always thinking its fun and I can stop whenever I want to. The years go by, I watch friends die or get locked up from harder substances and larger sale volume. I always was in it but not in it if that makes sense? A limbo between light and darkness. I got hired into banking and was a top producer. I ended up meeting a lady with kids and we have a few now ourselves. she thought my drinking was just fun and we were having a good time, not knowing how long and how dark it would get. I was a blackout drinker. Id do cocaine, drive and just be an overall asshole. It got to a point where it was “I’m taking the kids and leaving.” Growing up without a dad I wasn’t going to lose my kids for or from alcohol. That’s a whole other story easier to talk about rather than write about. Anyhow I pulled it out and got to work on my recovery I’ve always been a gym enthusiast. as I was taking psychology courses one of them talked about replacing bad habits with good ones or you’ll perpetually go back to the bad habits.. I recovered in the gym and in school. And that is where Switch’N Addiction was born. 5 years later and 100’s if not 1000’s of lives touched and here I ‘am growing and moving forward I ‘am very happy where I’m at and cant wait to keep expanding. there’s so much more to talk about than I can write but that’s the gist.
