The music business, such a fragile and quick, ever-changing flow. You can devote so much time in marketing and growth, and I have a change all at once in a matter of days. Being an independent Country artist , you have to do it all yourself with subcontracting different services of which all a record label has in house. This is a great question. Glad it was on the list of questions. So, I don’t believe we get anywhere by chance. I do believe everything is laid out by design. And we have to go through failures in order to grow and learn. Prior to owning LaRuche Photo, I owned another business. Won’t go into the details of that business. But it was another photo company. I had had this business for several years. When I moved to Georgia back in 2011, I promised myself that my business would take off. And it did. I met an amazing human being who I ended up partnering with. He was a good person, a man of God, and a loving husband with two amazing little boys. Summer of 2021, I decided I wanted to expand my shoe boutique and not only provide resale items. I wanted to design my own custom ladies boots. I found a shoe maker in Nigeria, July 2021. I wanted to release the boots for the 2021 holiday season. The shoe maker confirmed she would be able to get me the shoes by the holidays. She did have a concern. If she had to make sample boots, ship them to the USA and then get my approval to move forward with production, I wouldn’t receive them for the holidays. She suggested I give her the measurements, she would send me videos of the process and the completion of the first boot. This would be done before she began the full production. Read more>>
