Over the years, after talking with tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, artists and creatives, almost every success story we’ve heard has been filled with stories of failure. Unfortunately, in our view the media rarely covers these parts of the story – instead we often read summaries that make it seem like success happened “overnight.” However, what we’ve learned in our conversations with so many successful folks is that failure is core ingredient in the recipe for future success. Allow me to introduce my biggest accomplishment and my biggest most expensive failure to date. I’m not yet 40, so there may be another one if I get another wild hair. I wrote, designed, self-published, recorded and promoted my inspirational memoir. I have never been more proud of something I have produced beyond my son- he’s definitely number one. I wrote the book in 18 months and finished writing it at the beginning of covid, when everyone was sent home and the world was put on pause. Read more>>

Failure is only failure if you have not learned from the situation or experience. In 2021, I took a leap of faith and opened my own Sports Performance Training Facility. Athlete Depot, the brick and mortar, was the hottest training facility until March of 2022. I closed the doors at the peak of my endeavor. I failed to master the balance of family and business. Athlete Depot took me away from my family. The time and effort that it took to run and operate a 6000 square foot facility was not worth losing the very reason I sacrificed.
