I went to esthetics school at johnson county community college and it was the best decision. The education they taught us compared to others was so different. My training actually starts from high school. I attended Crockett Technical High School where I was a part of the sports medicine and physical therapy vocational program for 3 years. People often ask, “how do you get over imposter syndrome?”. The truth is you don’t ever get “over it”- you learn to live w/ it. And learning to live w/ the uncomfortable idea that I may not always feel like I always belong, or that I know enough has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. This idea has helped me get through some of my hardest days and lowest moments.
