Social media can be a really powerful way to connect with and build deeper relationships with your audience – but it can be extremely time consuming. So, we asked some folks we admire to share how they manage their social profiles and whether they’ve hired professionals to help.

I am currently the main manager for my social media content. I have considered reaching out to a strategist in the past. As someone sponsored by Rezurrection Media LLC I definitely have the upper hand when it comes to bouncing ideas off of other creator’s. I prefer managing my own content as I am my brand and want to stay as genuine to my own interests as possible. A huge lesson for any and all streamers is to spend more time making cross platform content to drive viewers to your stream than spending 10 hours hoping a viewer will show up. The best way to get an audience is to teach out yourself. Provide a value to your brand. Read more>>

Currently I manage my own social media. But I have had someone helping me out with editing some of the videos I’ve posted. I think being active on social media and have a company specialized on editing is key for the growth of your business. Makes it more profesional and helps to reach more people. Read more>>

I am a one woman show as of now. So I do it all, on top of the baking and everything else I have to do to keep this train moving. One thing I was told when I went to Culinary School was that I should document everything. Good and bad. I post pretty much every thing I make on social media. I’m a firm believer in it. Most of my clients have found me through Facebook and Instagram and word of mouth. If it wasn’t for people seeing and sharing my pictures and tagging me online in Fb groups, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Social media is very important to a business. But it can also break a business in a second. My best advice is to be smart and to be consistent. I try to post at least once a day. Read more>>

I’ve been managing my own digital brand “ARELGI” since 2013. I made the choice to become fully in charge of my digital brand, content strategies, video production, and creative direction from the very beginning. My desire was to showcase not only my personality, or my professional skills as a Graphic Designer, but also my artistic vision as a Creative Leader in the most authentic way to inspire others like me. As a Creative professional, it is substantial to take control of your own social media platforms, content, and your brand’s voice at all times. Although, it was challenging to craft my brand’s voice at first, I’m extremely grateful to say now that after a lot of adversity, the outcome has been very abundant thanks to consistency and hard-work, it has surpassed my expectations. The future is here and which social media platform to be on? I do all my own social media, I love to ba able to have a social media team but in the music business to me it is all about making relationships. And that is probably true for most businesses all the same!! Especially for me anyway, an artist starting out to make a name for himself and try and be a little different from the amazing artists out there. So, I try to be on all the main social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TikTok. It is amazing how there is very little overlap of followers across two of the platforms, never mind them all. Each post is getting to a different follower, which is great and then I create each post for each platform rather than using the fancy software. Read more>>

I manage my own social media. I choose to manage my own social media because I truly enjoy creating my own content. My goal is to be myself and deliver informative yet entertaining content to my audience. I would say if you are thinking about starting your own social media business, always be yourself. Don’t be afraid to let people know a personal side of you. Be present with your audience and engage with them as much as possible. It takes a lot of work when you first get started but the reward will be worth it in the end. Read more>>

Currently I manage my own social media. I would love to be able to hire a team to manage my platforms, but I’m a one woman team. I have to consider my costs so I made the choice to manage my social media. I also love the idea of being able to see my progress from start to finish. I’m definitely learning new skills daily when it comes to posts, reels, and utilizing Instagram. I’m a total novice, but I appreciate the ability to critique my work and learn from my mistakes. If you have the funding I would definitely recommend utilizing your resources and outsourcing some daily business tasks including but not limited to social media marketing and website development.
