We used to manage our own social media, but we recently hired an intern to manage our social media for the summer. Yes, I manage my own social media. When I decided to start my own business, I did a lot of research when it came to the back end of my business. I’ve never been super techy, and I definitely had to do my due diligence when creating my own social media for my business. I started Tumbleweed Organizing from the ground up, Read more>>

I currently handle all of my own social media. I keep posting to multiple platforms to a minimum and keep it simple with allowing my Instagram posts to automatically post directly to Facebook. I also upload Reels to TikTok, or post an original TikTok, every now and then. My social media account is a lot different than most other small businesses in my area. I utilize professional quality backdrops for product photos and utilize Reels on Instagram. Reels on Instagram get the most traction for me. Read more>>

As far as social media, I do maintain my own. I like to do it myself because it allows me to have that personal touch to it, oppose to someone else doing it. (Whether it goes into captions, responding to comments or messages, and then I’m also more aware of clients lives, what was said, and it just helps build relationships too.) I know social media is a chore itself, or work, since you have to take time to post, interact, and be social on it (whether it’s engaging with others.) Read more>>

I have manage my own social media since the beginning of my business. I made the choice because I want people to know who I am and not someone controlling my content. I want to be able to listen to feedback and have conversation with different people with opinions on my business. A lesson I would share with other business owners is to never mix business with personal even on social media. Read more>>

I manage our social media, but our creative team helps us produce the video or photos we need. Let me share a story that happened to us and that I hear from other founders constantly. I 100% manage our entire social media presence & am happy with the results I’ve attained thus far. I feel like so much our brand’s identity is tied to my identity, I can’t imagine handing it off to someone else. I want our posts & interactions to feel authentic, just as if you were in our store & talking to me directly. If I could share anything with other business owners, it would be just that: make sure your online presence is authentic & constant…I post multiple times every single day. Read more>>
