We live in the digital age, so as a business you must have a social media presence, whether your actual business is online or not. The way that the internet has engrained itself into our society and into our lives means that people trust what they find there when they go looking. If there’s nothing for them to find about your business, you don’t look credible, reliable or solid. Read more>>

We manage our own social media because we want to be authentic and true to our brand! Our content is mostly K-Pop dance covers on YouTube and a TikTok filled with dance trends and silly memes! For those starting out, we recommend to really immerse yourself in the area you want to create content in. Learning about the trends in that area can really help with creating your own content! It really helps with what is working for people and also knowing what is missing in that area. Read more>>

At the present moment, I manage all my social media pages. From @JonesStandard to @MiyokiJ, even my cats have a page! One of the most important things I’ve learned in managing my own creative business, is that I cannot be successful if I am trying to do everything myself. It became imperative early on in my business, that in order that I have my own creative time for my own artwork that I market and sell, as well as the time to create content and teach my workshops, and programs to other emerging artists, that I hire a professional to assist me in creating a good marketing strategy, and follow through with it.. I currently manage my own social media, however that hasn’t always been the case. Throughout the years I have had a few different companies and a virtual assistant manage all or some of my social media for me. Every business owner needs to examine what is right for them but what I had noticed in the real estate world is that many of the online companies that can manage it for you are specializing in real estate content. They are also sharing the same posts, that nobody reads, to many other agents social feeds in your same market. Read more>>

I think every new creator should manage their own social media accounts, at least in the beginning. I think learning, understanding and growing your platform gives you a wealth of knowledge that no one can take from you. I personally manage all my own accounts and platforms. I do understand maybe having an assistant or outsourcing certain things because content creation can burn you out! I plan on outsourcing things like YouTube intros. Simply because it’s time consuming. I already have to Be the content, film the content, edit it, schedule it, etc.. so being able to outsource certain things is helpful. I’m just super hands on & take pride in running my accounts personally. Read more>>

For all of my business ventures, I manage the social media accounts on my own. Yes, it’s a lot of work, but for me, I feel that putting out the content myself keeps the connection personal with my audience.
