Let me first start by saying that social media is a beast. At the moment I manage my own social media with some assistance from someone that creates flyers for me. Finding someone to assist me with my social media platform has been extremely challenging. It’s challenging because essentially there isn’t anyone that will see or understand my vision like I do. I currently manage my own Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pintrest accounts. It is definitely a lot of work trying to create and post content on each platform everyday. I have found that planning out content works great for me. I’m starting small with 1 week at a time because it can be overwhelming. Hashtags are a big deal! I research for popular hashtags and hashtags being used by other stylist. Then, I like to create 6 groups of different hashtags to use for each post. Using the same set of hashtags repeatedly tends to get your post shadow banned. Read more>>

I did my own social media for the first 3.5 years of my business before I hired Devin of Creative Gravity to take over my social media. It wasn’t a decision that I took lightly because having someone that didn’t have my lived experiences – create and write my content is a challenge. But Devin does it beautifully. I do share my stories in other ways, that Devin takes my stories and makes it even better. This has made it easier for me to be more present and share with my audience. Read more>>
