Social media can be a really powerful way to connect with and build deeper relationships with your audience – but it can be extremely time consuming. So, we asked some folks we admire to share how they manage their social profiles and whether they’ve hired professionals to help.

Social media is a huge component to the success of my career. It’s my only avenue of marketing, and in interior design, it’s the ideal platform to showcase my work, style, and personality. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in marketing, which I had intended to use to promote and advertise other businesses, but ultimately transitioned into marketing myself. I solely manage my social media as it is both my personal and business account, and I’m extremely selective in the content I post @lifeinlogue Read more>>

Social media has been a great way to connect with my clients, and I’ve consistently managed it on my own since the beginning. I think this has helped potential customers get to know me and see a bit of my personality that wouldn’t be so easily captured by a social media team or intern. I may not share consistently or with much rhyme or reason, but I can say it’s at least a genuine reflection of myself and my brand. Read more>>

I manage my own social media. However if creating wasn’t my fulltime there would be no way I could do it myself. I use hashtag generators to reach new and active audiences and interact with fifteen posts using each hashtag to drive traffic back to my page. In addition, I tag everything in the image from the creative team to the nail polish on my fingers. Read more>>

Currently, I’m managing our social media accounts. We think it’s extremely important to share who we are through storytelling, behind the scenes, sneak peeks, and/or snippets of our daily lives. We want to provide more insight than just wearing outfits. However, we are currently vetting a few prospects to help us out beginning Q1/2023. We are looking for someone who understands the significance of our content, that can also provide additional insight of how we can better serve our audience. Read more>>

When it comes to social media, im definitely the man behind the man when it comes to business. I make all of my flyers and templates and it isn’t always the easiest however, I get it done. Whenever there’s something new happening or a trend going on I try to incorporate that into my business without completely following the wave. I like for things to be relatable and eye catching but with my sauce on it. (If you know what I mean) Just so people are still identifying “That’s Dallface’s Brand” Read more>>

One of the many hats I wear in my small shop world is managing my own social media. I am no expert by any means, but I honestly enjoy it. Not to say it can’t be challenging. Social media can be a love and hate relationship. Love it because it can help grow your business and I can connect with my shoppers, hate it because it is such a timer sucker. Read more>>

I manage my own social media currently. I do hope to eventually hire someone to help me, but a lot of the content comes from my working process which spans a number of days. It can be difficult to maintain because we are in a day and age where everyone wants videos and reels. Although time-consuming, I do enjoy managing my social media myself. It requires creativity, and allows me to show people the process of my work from start to finish in just a few minutes. It also provides a space to build engagement with my community through music and humor, which really makes content fun. Read more>>

In the past I’ve been used to utilizing my social media as a way to showcase the work that I created during my time as a student. However since wrapping up my time as a student I’ve began the process of discovering what it’s like to truly make work for my self without having the background objective of trying to do well for the sake of school. This has been super important to me because of the desire that I have to grow more confident as a creative. Read more>>

As a wedding photographer, a lot of our inquiries generate from social media (mainly Instagram & Tiktok). After 7-8 years of shooting, I would say about 90% of our inquires come from social media. I feel that social media always has been such a great way for potential couples to get to know me and my team, & ultimately understand what we provide as a business. It has helped us share our favorite pieces of work – wether it’s through photo sharing or video content, catching the eye of millions of couples looking for wedding inspiration. Read more>>
