Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamara Solomson

Hi Tamara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

Since grade school, I’ve been captivated by the arts, drawn to their power to evoke emotion and inspire. From school plays to community theater, I immersed myself in every creative opportunity. As I grew, so did my passion, leading me to pursue a career in the live show industry. Starting from the ground up, I seized every chance to learn and grow, honing my skills in production, staging, and management. Through dedication and perseverance, I’ve climbed the ranks, navigating challenges and embracing triumphs along the way. Today, I stand at the intersection of artistry and innovation, fueled by a lifelong love for creativity.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

The journey has been far from smooth, marked by its own set of challenges and obstacles. Inconsistent work in my earlier years was a recurring struggle, navigating the ebbs and flows of the industry’s demand. Long hours and exhaustive schedules became the norm, often blurring the lines between work and personal life. Extensive travel, while thrilling at times, also took its toll, requiring adaptability and resilience to thrive in different environments. Yet, through perseverance and a steadfast commitment to my craft, each hurdle became an opportunity for growth, shaping me into the professional I am today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Through perseverance and resilience, I ascended to the role of an Executive Producer & Director, specializing in orchestrating memorable live shows and productions. However, my journey didn’t stop there; I’ve recently ventured into independent projects and photography, relishing the freedom it offers to explore my creative instincts. Personally and professionally, my proudest achievement lies in overcoming obstacles with unwavering determination, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?

For those venturing into the field, my advice is to embrace every aspect of the journey, including the inevitable rejections. Understand that setbacks are not roadblocks but rather stepping stones toward success. Learn to cultivate resilience, for it will serve as your greatest asset in this industry. Stay committed to your craft, continuously honing your skills and expanding your knowledge. Seek out mentors who can offer guidance and support along the way. And above all, never lose sight of your passion and purpose. With perseverance and determination, you’ll navigate the challenges of the industry and emerge stronger and more capable than ever before.
