Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Wilson.

Hi Sasha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Sasha Wilson. I am a Singed model, Music industry Touring Assistant/ Manager/ Booking Agent and Actress and Pre-Nursing Student. I began modeling towards the end of 2020. I was scouted out by a casting agency and worked with them for a bit. Just by staying consistent and working with a lot of different people within the fashion industry, I was able to walk and get experienced in runway. I’ve walked in many different shows for New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, Atlanta Swim Week and Philly Fashion Week. I Signed with my commercial mother agency in 2022. I’ve always really loved music and every aspect of it since I was a kid. I always wanted to do something in music. In 2023 I began working on music tours for major artist as an Assistant and Manager for certain shows. I’ve worked with Artist and teams of diverse genres such as Disney, Arcángel, Lil Yachty, INIKO, The Kid Laroi, Guns N’ Roses, Green Day, Train, Orville Peck and Lindsey Stirling. Through modeling, I was able to get into acting and have done so far background acting for shows and film productions on both HBO and Netflix. Outside of everything entertainment related, I also am a Pre- Nursing Student. I currently am studying for my entrance exam. I have a great respect for nurses and professionals in healthcare as a whole.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would say that it hasn’t exactly been easy only because working in the entertainment industry requires one to be very consistent and hard working. You have to really want it and be willing to put in the work. There have been times when I was tired or maybe didn’t always want to get ready for something but I still did because I knew that when all was done there would be a good and beneficial outcome which there always is thankfully. To get to where I am, sacrifices were sometimes made. Time management is also something that I’ve learned to work on so that not only am I putting time into my endeavors but also making sure that I’m equally having time for my social and personal life. Rejection is also something that you run into although my mindset is always on “on to the next” because when one door may close, another one opens and you just have to keep moving. The roads aren’t always smooth but you get there.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am most proud that I am blessed to be able to pursue my passions and do what I love. I love fashion and modeling. Sometimes it can be a lot especially when you get booked up, but it’s also really exciting! I grew up with my mother always sewing and just seeing her being so into fashion really inspired me! When I was a kid, I’m talking 7/8 years old, I use to google and such up how to work in the music industry and I would print things out haha. I always had this dream and I think that it’s really cool how everything has come together. For me, it’s just having a dream and working towards it until you achieve and are where you want to be. With that it also is having God involved which I and very thankful.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Passion, Dedication, Drive, Determination, Work ethic, Consistency, Positivity, Kindness, Dependability and Networking are the many qualities and characteristics that I believe have been very important to my success.
