Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronald “Ron2Riches” Anderson
Ronald “Ron2Riches”, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
First of all I want to thank y’all for having me back as a featured guest on this platform. Since our last interview, new and amazing changes has blessed me. Since then I have moved from Atlanta to New York City to really hone in and focus on building my skills in the production space of film and television.
How this journey begin is really unique. Waking up on Saturday mornings for the first 3 weeks of arriving and walking the blocks in Brooklyn and introducing myself to neighborhood people and businesses. Let me explain why that was important. I came across some amazing people in a hardware store on Nostrand avenue and two of the gentlemen by the names of Rajen Persaud and Yashua El really guided me in the right direction.
Yashua El provided me with the information of how to become a television producer at the Brooklyn Media Center and Rajen is providing me with the knowledge on how to become a great film producer and director. With these two gentlemen I have made great strides so far in my production journey.
Meeting additional amazing people like Mo’dilla of Undergroundlyfe, Kvstle, and other like minded folks also makes this production journey more appreciative.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This road has been very smooth. Being my authentic self and bringing my southern hospitality to a gritty city has been a key element of mine. I also learned obstacles and challenges can be overcome with a great team behind. Shout out to my BRIC production team who includes Messiah, Charles, Yashua, Abdullah, and Ansharra.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a host and executive producer of my talk show, Talking Riches. Talking Riches is a talk show highlighting everyday amazing business owners, musicians, and specialize industry professionals to hear about their journey and blueprint on how they got to where they are today. We also specialize in proving a music performance platform for up and coming artist from all walks of life.
I am most proud of seeing a vision, writing down my vision, and then achieving the vision.
I am a well rounded videographer who also specializes in producing cinematic music videos, open mic performances, podcast production, and skits for up and coming comedians.
What sets me apart of others is not trying to be no one else. I believe everyone is unique even if they think their not. You just have to find that one thing about you that no one cant take from you.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the fun and energetic kid. I always loved going outside, climbing trees, and when I can watch Dragon Ball Z. I love to laugh and love being around others who have big dreams. I love playing football and always was big in technology. Me and my brother, Dominique Anderson use to take apart old computers and put it back together like it was new.
