Today we’d like to introduce you to Nidia Temple
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A first generation Mexican-American with roots in Spain and Portugal, I spent most of my childhood in Texas. Becoming the first university graduate in my family tree was a big deal since my parents migration into this country was solely focused on survival & family preservation. Two years after my college graduation with my BA in Journalism and minor in Art History, I landed a PR associate job at Ogilvy Adams & Rinehart in NYC, so my move to New York was justifiable as my early teenage years stored a dream in my memory of my wish to live in New York City!
After my two year corporate experience, I moved back to the non-profit sphere pursuing greater fulfillment. The social network in that field propelled me back into my early activism in social justice and women in the arts. I fondly remember a grant award I received to travel to Beijing and attend the World’s Women Conference to offer a workshop on the importance of “Women Depicted in Films”. Working in grants development and social program initiatives, I discovered my sustenance was existing in environments where individual soul expression is encouraged provided me greater fulfillment, joy and personal freedom.
My young blood desire to continue to learn, experience and explore the world and allowing my inner voice as the golden compass to guide my pathway paired with my willingness to collaborate and connect with others has remained paramount to my growth, enriching my inner life and my quest for self fulfillment and service.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
After starting a family and a new business venture with my then husband, time for personal development was obsolete. The beautiful intensity and demand required to nurture three children and assist my partner at work, paired with my inability to multi-task, raising my kids took a front and center place in my life, therefore I made it my only expression for quite some time.
As my kids grew a little older, I set out to lay out a temporary foundation for my creative activation and develop an extended sense of personal fulfillment. My volunteer work in my kids’ elementary school and my civic involvement in our town was integral to continue developing new skills and meeting interesting, active humans in my community. Additionally, I took Feng Shui coursework as well as Interior Design courses at the NYU Cont Ed program. I was so drawn to design and energy education because as we gradually moved from home to home, decorating and designing interiors became one of my greatest passions.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, my passion projects are the development of the Noble Souls Studio, completing my Interior Design book to be released next summer: and the conceptualization & investor recruitment of the Casitas Development.
I believe I am known for my space and soul healing offerings, as well as my writing contributions. In addition to soulful interior styling and staging, I specialize in the purification of energy in homes, businesses and land blessings relying on light activation meditation coupled with my mediumship channeling. It’s quite the accomplishment for a designer to create an aesthetically beautiful, personal interior, and yet the most relevant aspect for me, is to shape a place where the ‘feels’ is the potency. “This place is stunning, and yet how does it FEEL??”
The Dowsing modality I offer is what I am most proud of. The power of this method, using copper rods, to shift the invisible energy it’s quite astounding. By raising the space frequency, I have unexpectedly witnessed many incredible transformations for both spaces and their inhabitants. My work offering is quite unique, plus my personal desire and service to others, is to encourage individuals to center into their heart space for positive transformation, healing, and notable alignment & intuitive power. Supporting my clients to build stronger brain and heart coherence is so vital to activate love, joy and harmony for themselves, spread into their surroundings and their personal soulful connections.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I recall people describing me as unique, friendly, charismatic, adaptable, strong willed and independent.
I personally identify as a highly spiritual, creative, resilient, dynamic, introspective, curious woman. I love to dance like nobody is watching lol, practice daily sacred rituals, paint art, laugh a lot, write, travel and discover new foods and cultures.
