Today we’d like to introduce you to Miles Perry
Hi Miles , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember, always drawn to texture and materials. For many years, burlap was my primary medium, and I had the opportunity to collaborate with brands like Nordstrom, West Elm, and L.L. Bean. My journey as an artist has been about authenticity, expression, culture, and design. People often describe my work as having a gritty, raw street art vibe. I refer to my creative process as “versalism,” highlighting its versatility and unique approach. This philosophy ultimately inspired the creation of my signature style, “this is an original work of art™.”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If your journey as an artist feels smooth, you might not be taking enough risks. For me, being an artist means exploring creativity, pushing boundaries, and staying true to yourself as you evolve and delve into your ideas. Sometimes your work resonates with the audience, and sometimes it doesn’t. Ultimately, the key question is whether you’re being authentic. Balancing this authenticity with making a living is also an essential part of the process.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multi-faceted artist known for creating bold statements that blend art + sculpture with everyday objects. Each piece I create is original, and I constantly explore a variety of textures, materials, and forms. You can truly feel the energy I invest in my work, with each piece reflecting a strong sense of originality and personal expression.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Feel free to connect with me via social media or my website. I’m always open to collaborating with individuals and brands!
