Hi Malikah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

Mother Earth Productions LLC: A Mission of Transformation and Healing

Founded in April 2017, Mother Earth Productions LLC was established with a profound mission: to uplift and empower individuals from all walks of life. Our organization is dedicated to fostering unity, resilience, and personal growth by nurturing the human spirit, igniting passions, strengthening families, and supporting dreams. In a world where adversity—pain, disappointment, loss, and harsh truths—can often dim our inner light, we aim to restore a sense of self-worth, purpose, and empowerment. We started out as a one-woman organization building to employing serval projects for many people.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Anything worth fighting for will inevitably come with obstacles. However, in August 2017, Chaplain Gene Sayre and the dedicated team at Hampton Roads Regional Jail in Portsmouth, VA, graciously opened their doors to Mother Earth Productions LLC. Their support allowed us to host an event that deeply impacted 36 female inmates, many of whom continue to seek guidance and support to this day.

The work we do is both urgent and necessary. We are in a state of emergency—people are yearning for truth, healing, and the tools to rebuild their lives. At Mother Earth Productions LLC, our mission is to help individuals confront their truth, overcome adversity, and embrace transformation. Through creativity, restoration, and healing, we are committed to changing lives and uplifting communities—one story at a time.

At Mother Earth Productions LLC, we believe in the intrinsic value of every individual. We champion life and the pursuit of peace of mind that surpasses all understanding. Through our three-part initiative, we are committed to transforming lives and communities in extraordinary ways.

Our Three-Part Initiative
Creativity – Through entertainment, including musicals, live performances, novels, films, and a clothing line, we seek to inspire and unite people from diverse backgrounds. Artistic expression serves as a universal language, bridging cultures and fostering connection.

Restoration – A significant portion of our proceeds is reinvested into local and global communities, ensuring that we not only rebuild physical spaces but also restore hope and opportunities for those in need.

Healing & Legacy – By fostering creativity and love within ourselves and future generations, we cultivate a legacy of empowerment. Our children are the key to a better tomorrow, and by nurturing their potential, we secure a brighter future for all.

Our First Project: Prison Rebirth
One of our most impactful initiatives, Prison Rebirth, is dedicated to empowering female inmates by helping them break free from destructive cycles. As part of this initiative, we launched Blood Sisters: The Musical—a powerful, life-changing production that explores the journey of a mother and her five daughters as they navigate truth, forgiveness, and healing. This production resonates deeply with audiences, offering a transformative experience that heals from the inside out.

In conjunction with the musical, we also released the spin-off novel, Generational Curses, which delves into profound and often taboo subjects such as rape, incest, and generational trauma. By addressing these difficult topics openly, we aim to break the cycles of silence and suffering, providing a pathway to healing and liberation.

I’m mostly proud of seeing people become healed from either seeing the musical or reading the novel. I think what sets Mother Earth Productions LLC apart is the fact that we not only care we share the pain and traumas of people. That way while performing any of the creative insights we can relate in a more personal way.
