Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasleni Brito

Hi Jasleni, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

I’ve been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. My mom loves to share stories of how, even as a baby, I was scribbling and drawing before I could write, always passionate about bringing my artistic visions to life. As an adult, that passion evolved into my own art and design business, which I’ve been running for over a decade. This journey has allowed me to collaborate on incredible branding and website projects with over 200 clients. While I continue to enjoy my work in branding and design, I’m particularly excited about channeling my creative energy into my latest project, La Caribeña Oracle deck, which has been a deeply fulfilling endeavor.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Creating La Caribeña Oracle deck has been an incredible journey, but it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Initially, I had the ambitious (and somewhat delusional) plan of completing all the artwork in just a month or two, thinking my excitement and commitment would carry me through. However, as I began painting, it became clear that this project demanded patience, contemplation, and a lot of tenderness. The deck wouldn’t allow for fast movement; it required me to slow down, meditate on each image, and give the art the detailed attention it deserved.

While my initial burst of energy was necessary to ignite the project, I’m incredibly grateful that I allowed myself to take my time. It’s been a year since I started, and I’ve now completed all the artwork, designed the cards, and finished writing the guidebook. The final stages of printing and production are underway, but now the challenge lies in marketing and promoting the deck. This new phase is pushing me to be more present and visible, which, though challenging, has also been a lot of fun.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

I’m an Art Witch, Certified Transformation Coach, and Intuitive Brand Strategist, blending art, spirituality, and strategy to help people express their most vibrant, authentic selves. My work spans from creating custom art and branding to offering coaching that aligns clients with their highest purpose. What sets me apart is the intentional magick I infuse into everything I do—whether it’s a piece of art or a business strategy. I’m most proud of my ability to help others manifest their deepest desires through creative expression. My promise is to support you in crafting something truly special and meaningful.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?

I had a beautiful childhood growing up in the sunny city of Santiago, Dominican Republic, where days were filled with eating mangos and playing outside. One memory that always makes me smile is little Jasleni standing on the kitchen counter, singing my heart out to Selena’s “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.” I also cherish the times spent visiting my grandparents in the countryside, eating sugarcane while my uncle Tibo played the accordion. But my favorite moments were in the playhouse my dad built for me in the backyard, where I would draw for hours, creating dozens of pictures in a day, always fiercely protective of my crayons.
