Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Bullock.

Hi Danielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

In 2023 I started making beaded bracelets and accessories as a hobby and also to cope with my anxiety. I started getting requests to make custom pieces and decided to turn my hobby into a small business. I decided to set up a business Instagram page and started to sell online. In 2024 I launched my website. I love vending at local pop up shops and school events.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

The road has not always been smooth. I had some obstacles along the way. I would say the biggest struggle was and still is social media and gaining followers. One thing I have learned though is to be consistent and engage with your customers.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

I have decided to leave my job to make jewelry full time. Eventually I would love to have my jewelry in stores.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?

The biggest lesson I have learned is don’t set unrealistic expectations. Set goals that are attainable and make sure you have a real plan to achieve them.
