Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Ashley.
Hi Brittney, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I like to joke that I’m a hippie always trying to fit “in”—but as I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that sometimes I just don’t. And that’s okay. Being neurodivergent with ADHD and dyslexia, learning things never came easily to me. It took time, trial, and plenty of creative problem-solving to figure out what truly works.
I come from the tech world, where I learned how to optimize systems, streamline workflows, and build scalable solutions. That experience, combined with my passion for helping people, led me to found Creative Dynamics—a company that started as a way to help moms work from home but quickly evolved into a premium, full-service firm. Today, we specialize in executive virtual assistance, project management, and operations support, helping businesses run seamlessly so their owners can focus on growth, not the day-to-day chaos.
Beyond business, I’m deeply connected to my Métis heritage, inspired by the resilience of my grandmother, a survivor of the Indian Residential School system. Her strength fuels my commitment to community, advocacy, and supporting Indigenous women in business.
Now, as a business coach, marketing strategist, and certified Imposter Syndrome Coach, I help others break norms, build businesses that align with their lives, and challenge the idea that success has to look a certain way. Because if I’ve learned anything, it’s that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach—and sometimes, the best way forward is to stop trying to fit in and start owning exactly who you are.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, not at all. Some days, I feel like I don’t quite fit anywhere—whether it’s in the tech world, entrepreneurship, or even traditional business spaces. Being neurodivergent with ADHD and dyslexia has made certain aspects of business—like reading, writing, and structure—a challenge. I’ve had to find creative ways to work around systems that weren’t designed for brains like mine.
Early on, I struggled with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, constantly questioning whether I belonged in the rooms I was in. I’ve faced moments where I felt like I had to prove myself twice as hard, especially in male-dominated industries. And let’s be real—balancing business and life as a mom? That’s a whole challenge on its own.
But every challenge taught me something. I learned to build systems that work for me, not against me. I found my own way of leading, coaching, and running a business that embraces neurodiversity, efficiency, and authenticity.
The road hasn’t been smooth, but I wouldn’t change it. Every struggle has helped me create a business that empowers others to break norms and build success on their own terms.

What are you most proud of?
What I’m most proud of is how we’ve helped business owners who are already generating $8k+ in revenue break through their growth barriers. The transformation stories—from gaining back valuable time to being able to scale more efficiently—are incredibly rewarding. Seeing our clients go from feeling overwhelmed and stretched thin to having streamlined operations, more clarity, and the confidence to elevate their businesses is what fuels my passion. It’s amazing to watch our clients go from struggling with growth to flourishing with improved profitability and sustainability.
What sets you apart from others?
What truly sets Creative Dynamics apart is our deep focus on businesses that have surpassed the $8k+ revenue mark and are looking to scale with strategic, high-level support. We provide holistic, custom solutions that not only streamline operations but also elevate business strategy and leadership. What makes our approach unique is the ability to combine empathy and strategic thinking, especially for neurodivergent entrepreneurs. This people-first approach ensures that every system we implement is tailored to the individual needs of each business owner, allowing them to focus on growth, leadership, and future vision.
Another aspect that sets us apart is the leadership I bring to the table. I’m passionate about breaking norms and building dreams, which is why I host the “Breaking Norms, Building Dreams” radio show, where we share stories and insights with 200k+ listeners. It’s a platform that highlights the importance of breaking through personal and professional barriers and reimagining success in a way that aligns with each individual’s unique path. This work constantly inspires me to continue guiding others to lead with confidence and authenticity.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was definitely on the shy and introverted side. I was never the life of the party and often preferred to keep to myself or spend time with a small, close-knit group of friends. I was always more of a thinker than a talker, spending a lot of time in my own head, observing the world around me. Social situations sometimes felt overwhelming, and I often had a hard time speaking up in big groups.
I had a deep love for learning and could easily get lost in books or projects that sparked my curiosity. I wasn’t the most outgoing, but I was always passionate about figuring things out, whether that was learning a new skill, exploring different interests, or simply delving into technology and gadgets. My interests were pretty wide-ranging, and I spent a lot of time reflecting and working on things on my own.
Being shy didn’t mean I didn’t have big dreams, though. I was always quietly determined, and despite my introversion and struggles with dyslexia and ADHD, I pushed myself to keep learning and growing. I didn’t always have the confidence to step into the spotlight, but I was always quietly building my own path and trying to find ways to break through my own personal barriers.
