Today we’d like to introduce you to Brigitte Andrade.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

Brigitte, appreciate you joining us today. can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Brigitte Andrade, and I am a multifaceted artist, writer, and publisher of the The Adventures of Bibi Friends classic comic book series. My experience spans the advertising and fashion industries, which led to roles in branding, marketing, and publicity for various clients.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

I was wondering if you could tell me something that you or your brand have been up to and what new projects have you accomplished?

I am looking forward to an interesting and productive 2025. I curated a new Expo Metro Interactive Art exhibition on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach this January 18-20th, 2025. We teamed up with Art Deco Weekend & The Miami Design Preservation League on Ocean Drive for our 3rd Art Train exhibition celebrating 100 years of Art Deco and Martin Luther King Day. We are thrilled to have 239 artists from 38 countries, featuring 353 artworks. I have been asked to host a weekly radio segment for Metro NYC Radio – “The New” WNEW FM 102.7 HD3. The historic New York City FM radio station WNEW is being reformatted on their HD3 channel with new content. A digital land signal reaches a 50-mile radius from The Empire State Building, accessible in 95 million cars, most luxury brands models, plus all cellphones and computers worldwide via a hotlink. I previously worked on the radio with Bo Griffin on Power 96 in Miami in the 2000’s as the South Beach weekend reporter and many segments over the years on Hot Talk 105 with Jill Tracey and may they both rest in peace. This was unexpected project and could get interesting.

I relaunched my Bibi Sports Adventures website this past summer and adding sports medicine content with Dr. Rastafa Geddes (A brain scientist) discussing AI in the future of Women’s Sports! https://www.bibisportsadventures.com/

I have a project in Europe that I have been quietly working on for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics and would love to discuss but I can’t just yet…stay tuned for this one.

I closed out 2024 completing 2 more books in the month of October. One is a history book celebration of my 155-year-old high school Saint Vincent Academy in Newark, NJ. The book is part of a scholarship for SVA students we created and named after our class theme song “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand. The other is my first children’s book, a Ukrainian comic book series of hope called T-Superheroes that I created with my Ukrainian summer high school intern Myroslava Koliadenko. Our first book in the series is in both English and Ukrainian and we were interviewed by Art Speak magazine for Florida International University Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media. Read here:

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

How have you and or your art evolved?

My art has evolved in ways I couldn’t have imagined with the addition of AI. It has enabled me to produce a greater volume of work, content and opened a vibrant realm of creative expressions. This has allowed me to expand my base and particularly the merchandising of my products. As I like to say, enjoy what you do and find a way monetize it!

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?

There will be major shifts across all industries in my opinion in the next 10 years due to AI. Some will be remarkable changes for the better, but also in my opinion, not so much for others for a variety of reasons.
