Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Victoria
Hi Brandi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a hard worker. Since a young age I as working after school before the age most people start working. I did some fast food and customer service jobs but quickly realized a “typical job” wasn’t for me. I needed adrenaline and adventure. So I became an EMT and then a paramedic. I loved helping people and being there in some of the worst moments of people’s lives. It was a rewarding job at times but also came with sights that some people should never see. My time on the ambulance was an eye opening season for sure but it also didn’t come with the financial stability so instead of being a paramedic in the ambulance, I transferred to the company’s offshore decision. Not the same style of medical help as the ambulance but it came with a family I never had and paychecks bigger than I had ever seen. I stayed offshore for 6 years when I started wanting something different. Longing to be home with my family instead of away for two weeks at a time. Something inside of me sparked. I wanted to “be my own boss.” I didn’t have anyone to reach out to so the internet became my best friend. I decided I would open up my very own coffee truck. And I did. In 2019 I put in my notice at work and opened up Espresso Geaux. Covid hit and my business boomed! So much so that I went from one coffee truck to a drive through and then opened up a full size brick and mortar cafe. I was living my dream, serving my community, and was getting used to being a new mom. Louisiana life was great until my husband got a job opportunity too good to pass up in his home state of Texas. I had become a successful entrepreneur so I could adjust, adapt, overcome the hurdle of having 3 small businesses in a different state. It worked well for a while until the price of everything continued to rise and the need for my management in Louisiana became more evident. I had some hard choices to make. When we arrived in Texas, I started an event photography business that transitioned to a very successful real estate photography business. So I had money coming in but not enough time and resources for my Louisiana coffee shops. I decided to close them both down and just keep one. My first baby, my coffee truck.
Things ran smooth for me and my businesses but there was just one thing I noticed that still took a toll on me. My husband had an amazing job, just a few minutes from home, we had a nice house, but.. he was never home like he needed to be with our 1 year old. He worked a lot and I soon found myself googling how to make money online. I’m sure everyone has at some point right?
In October or 2023 I enrolled in a free 90 day scholarship that teaches beginners how to make money online. To keep it short and sweet, I finished top of my class. I decided that I would go all in to see what could come of this and I did. I ended up making $9k in 90 days and was the most successful student. Who would have known that the one thing Covid provided was the evidence that people can be successful online when the world shuts down. I finished my 90 day program in January of 2024. I have since then, created 7 online income streams, been able to fully retire my husband, and as far as my adventure bone? We decided to sell everything we own and travel full time! We left for our year long journey on our daughter’s second birthday. April 1, 2024. We are using this year to not only enjoy the time as a family we missed out on while working but growing our online empire and praying about where God wants us to lay down our roots.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Oh goodness no! Not at all. From my little recap I just gave, you can see that it has not been rainbows and butterflies. Covid, moving, having a baby, closing down 5 businesses, selling everything we own. There has been so many struggles along the way. So many concerns. Let’s be honest here. How many people do you know that has sold everything they own to travel with an infant and a dog. I can bet not many BUT here is the thing. There will ALWAYS be struggles. You can either struggle working for someone else or struggle doing your own thing. I can almost promise that you will have much more freedom in your struggle working for yourself than working for someone else. Van life isn’t always rainbows and butterflies either. The van needs maintenance. Things break down. Chaos, mass chaos can erupt with zero warning and it does. But living on our own terms, not having to request off, and deciding not to wait until we retire to actually live our life has been the best decision we ever made!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, what started out as a coffee slinging, community serving, adventure loving South Louisiana gal slowly turned into a self motivated, family driven, online income coach. I get that not everyone wants to travel full time and make money from their phone. That is totally okay! We NEED police officers, teachers, doctors, entertainers, we need people that want to work those types of jobs. We need restaurants and stores. I don’t knock anyone who wants to live those lives but for the ones that don’t. There ARE other options. That is what I want to show people. I get asked daily how I make money online. Me personally, I make money from Amazon, affiliate marketing, UGC (user generated content), coaching, digital products, and the list goes on and on. There are so many ways to make money online that don’t include taking surveys for a few pennies.
I think what sets me apart is honestly what I am most proud of. I am a go getter. When I set goals, I hit them. I don’t make excuses for not doing things, I make plans to make things happen. Shutting down my physical businesses that I worked so hard to create wasn’t an easy decision to make. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to decide. I spent years growing these businesses and making them successful. But here is the thing, if I am spending every waking moment of my day working, what is there to enjoy? I started my businesses to be home with my family but it turned into be home to work and not being present. I had to adapt, change course, so I did. I took a leap of faith and I am very proud of that. Now I travel the world with my family and have more freedom with both my time and my finances that I could have never had with my other businesses. I’m so proud of that.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I feel like most people that know me through any of my businesses know that I am a wild, determined, adventure junkie already. I have been very intentional with being myself and showing people the true me through all of my businesses and brands. BUT if I had to pick, it would probably be that when I decided to go all in with my online businesses, I didn’t known if I would actually make it. I know, that sounds terrible right? I feel like people think I have it all together and I just have easy success with everything I do. Y’all, that is so far from the truth. Nothing I have came easy. No one sees the behind the scenes. Even working online isn’t a walk in the park. It takes so much to grow and scale. I just don’t accept failure as an outcome. The one phrase I get a lot is “it must be nice.” I want to throw rocks off a mountain top when people say that. That is such a broke mindset mentality you know? Is traveling nice? Yes! But getting here wasn’t. No one handed me anything. I feel like most people think I have it easy because of the life I live but in reality, I just made a choice to do whatever it took to break the cycle of working all day and still struggling to pay bills or be home with my family.
Pricing:
- When I started online, I enrolled in a 90 day scholarship. The training was completely free but the software was $97 a month to be able to build 3 online income streams in the 90 days. I am not a moderator inside that program. People often ask me what I invested to get started. It was 97 dollars. 97 dollars that I made back in a couple weeks lead me to making 9k in 90 days then 50k in 6 months. Less than 100 dollars gave me a life of time and financial freedom. It isn’t the money that changed it all for me, it was the decision to say yes to starting and the mindset of doing whatever it takes to change the trajectory of my family’s life for years to come.
