Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Hunter
Hi Bailey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Bailey, my life really consisted of playing video games, dating and just being the typical teenager until I found my place at Phonetic Media Group, I was asked to support and join the team at Phonetic as an Account Manager, Phonetic is a media, entertainment, events and advertising company based in the UK with a global operation, my first job was to dress in scary halloween costume and pop into businesses in Yorkshire, UK and scare them to engage them…. and it worked. I then moved on to selling digital OOH advertising platforms and managing clients advertising at the biggest airport in Europe, London Heathrow across the entire transport network.
Phonetic Media Group has given me hope, an opportunity to thrive in a creative world. At Phonetic Media Group I believe no matter who you are and what your gender, equality matters. As much as we love to deliver successful campaigns and bring life to the media world as we know it, we have a greater passion to create relationships and bring hope to employees. We believe everyone has room to grow, learn and expand your personal and professional knowledge and strongly encourage this from the ground up. We are a family, and who doesn’t want to see their family do the best they can in every aspect of their life. As a business, we take climate change seriously and want to deliver a change helping to put a stop to the likes of global warming while also having a positive effect on wildlife. Everyone’s voice matters. So together as a phonetic family we can bump heads and be creative. There are endless possibilities to the media industry and we strive to show that.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I grew up in a tough part of Leeds in the UK, having had a number of serious family tragedies in my life the road to success has not been easy.
1. I never knew when I would have enough money to get my hair cut
2. At times had no proper place to call home
3. Struggled to and my feet in a career that got me excited
4. Could never afford to go away and have a break
5. Found it difficult to trust people
6. Without my family I would be nothing.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am now a director at Phonetic Media Group, we manage all the OOH inventory and assets on the transport links at London Heathrow Airport reaching 86 million people per year, we have our own mobile advertising formats, digital OOH advertising formats, we support and enhance live events and keep people entertained through music and live events whilst supporting charities and educating future generations on the creative industry.
I’m cheeky, ambitious and most importantly have fun, I’m persistent and deliver amazing campaigns for clients both brands and events.
My first ever campaign was for a large UK property developer, it’s my proudest moment being able to support them reach new audiences and deliver the ROI they needed, seeing it go live and managing it from start to finish and able to give them a full report on the impact of the campaign was amazing.
Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to developing the business that I have had a huge impact on, I’m also creative and enjoy music so you may hear a few tracks from me or songs that I have worked on being released soon too.
Im developing my career everyday and enjoy working with the team we are one big family with an incredible vision and huge ambitious to transform the world of media and entertainment.
