My thoughts on family businesses are two separate pathways: it could be beneficial or it could be detrimental to the family. The detrimental side of it could be that your father or mother may want the kids to go into the same business but if the children don’t love it like the parents do they won’t enjoy doing it and therefore make their lives more stressful and possibly failing the business and not taking it to its full level of growth.
