Zylia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
I began my journey as a published author at the age of 45 years old after the death of my father. It was at that point that I realized that I could not wait any longer to share my stories with the world. Losing my father showed me that tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone. I believe that starting my story sooner would have given me more years to share my story. Regardless of that fact, I intend to do whatever I can to continue sharing the message: we read, we write, we publish! The greatest gain was always self love, once I learned to celebrate my unique flavors, I truly began living. To all the young people reading this article, I urge you to begin your journey today, to the seasoned readers, there is no expiration on dreams!

My name is Zylia N Knowlin and I am the proud owner of Empress Haberdashery. My haberdashery features books published books, merchandise and full line of eyeshadows. The goal is to provide high quality products that bring you unique experiences and mind-blowing self-satisfaction. Visiting my haberdashery allows you to connect with your higher vibes. My haberdashery is a distinctive experience for all that visits. I am most proud of the collaboration I created with products that highlight beauty and brains. for each of our royal clients.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I lesson I wish to unlearn was the lesson that some people disguise their true intentions, that is to say that you cab not take every people at their words, because some people words mean nothing to them. I wish I could tell you that some people will say that they live you but secretly are planning your demise. The truth is some people will waste your time and use you but only if you let them. Never let love blind you,
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative, is being able to life my authentic life. It’s the ability to be confident in the skin I’m in. It is the desire to continue climbing until I reach what and where I want to be. It’s the knowledge of knowing that I hold the power to create anything I want to.
