We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Zu Opara. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Zu below.
Zu, appreciate you joining us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
As a creative I’ve never really thought about legacy like that, I’m just going day by day doing what I love. But to answer the question, I’d hope to build something motivational and inspirational for others who have talents and passions but are afraid to chase after them. I think it would be cool if people saw my work and thought “If he can do it so can I” cause that’s how I look at many of my personal inspirations. I hope to be remembered as the kid who went against the pressures of the norm, did what he wanted, and brought his visions to life.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a creative from the Inland Empire–I specialize in videography/photography to overall editing. My services include directing, filming, and editing music videos, promotional videos(commercials/reels/etc), event videos, and digital photography photoshoots(portraits/fashion photography/brand-product photography). These services are catered to artists, creatives, business owners, individuals, and groups in need of vizuals. Since I’m always experimenting, clients and others who reach out to inquire about my work have different flavors they can browse through to see which can match their vision.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My main goal/mission driving my creative journey begin with my desire to bring to life the ideas/vizuals I have in my head, as well as my passion to be the best version of myself that I can be creatively. I’ve been blessed to be on this creative journey, so I only want to produce high-quality art and get better with each project. I just want to make cool stuff.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
People don’t know about the hours we as creatives put in behind each project, so it’s really rewarding when the art is put out and received warmly and recognized. Even when showing the clients the finished product of what they paid for and seeing their sheer excitement is really cool. Overall seeing the vision come to life is a 10/10 feeling.
