Zieya, appreciate you joining us today. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard.
Emotion is really important to me it’s a huge help when planning and scouting. I also make sure everyone on the team is participating in their own style! Comfort is important because without you can tell the difference no matter what. I also like to build everything from scratch especially huge sets.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Zieya Reid, but Tiimy is preferred and I’m a freelance multi media artist located in Baltimore MD. I started painting at 10 years old which spark a little curiosity to see if what else I was good at. During 2017 I decided to teach myself everything I needed to know about photography while improving my graphic skills in high school. I provide photography, graphic, and painting commissions with my own website that includes garments of my own design of clothing. Fast forward to this year my goal for my brand provide beautiful art that makes you feel confident, and at home. I enjoy stepping out the box with my emotions providing mystical beings, experience filled concert photos, and all things dark. I’m extremely proud of everything provided positive or negative it provided tremendous growth.
If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
I love all things behind the scenes when it becomes to the photography world so I provided set design, photography, support coach, and styling! I also provide advice to up and coming artist of all ages.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
During the pandemic my time in the Baltimore art scene + home things it wasn’t the best causing my mental to go down hill. After my last gig/adventure to New York City I decided to lock myself in my room, and disappear from earth. During that process I started to give every aspect of myself love causing me to heal taking it one day at a time. November 2021 I made a return to the art world with the peace I gain which cause me to do nothing, but grow into the Pixie that I am today.
