Zay, appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I realized it when i became more aggressive in pursuing it , like going to the studio any chance i get , writing at work , writing at home , putting all my energy and money into it just really pushing myself and i still am now

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Zay2x(two times) i am an artist from the eastside of Detroit MI , originally being an artist was never in the plans for me , i wanted to manage i started writing and i was going thru a few things at the time and a few of my ppls was telling me to just try it , i did , dropped a song called “Truthfully” which is still streaming everywhere go get that ! Anyway became more comfortable with dropping music started connecting with producers, photographers, videographers, and podcasts and from there and on just been putting out heat nonstop i have a brand by the name of realistically speaking LLC and it just states who i am , what i represent, what i stand on and keeping my morals and principles but motivated to get money and change the situation of those around me as well as mine

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Yeah, i watched a lot nipsey Hussle docs and vlogs, his thought process and blueprint to his brand was a good look too me , also the way he maneuvered thru a lot of trials , his knowledge on what he believed was , is, or to come was interesting cause his actions backed up everything he was saying

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

When people , ask me “when you dropping?” , or when people tell me my music impacted them emotionally even just the fact that somewhere it’s a boat load of people that’s listening to you ! On a daily , your thoughts , your reality, people relate to your music that made me feel good nothing like it
