We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Zane Noga. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Zane below.
Zane, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
All my life I really had a drive to make music, starting around when i was about 8 years old. I just loved music, all different kinds, I especially fell in love with melodies. Starting when I was about 12 years old I downloaded a free audio recording on a computer and I started making music just for fun on there, as a joke. It wasn’t good music at all lol it was just for fun. About a couple years later when I was 14 years old I started to really learn about mixing vocals and started to take it seriously. I was on and off for a couple years, I fell in love with the process of making music and hearing the end product gave me a feeling that nothing else could give me, once people started actually liking the sounds I created I started taking it further knowing for a fact I can do something with music.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
To be honest, I really just be speaking my mind on what I’m feeling, how my life’s going, everyday struggles. I want anybody who listens to my music to know whatever they’re going through they are not alone. I know from my own experience listening to music helps you feel better, and if you feel like the artist is really speaking on some things that you feel like nobody else understands, or you are going through. It gives a bit of reassurance to know that you’re not the only one dealing with whatever it is you’re going through. I’m speaking from my own experience of course, I obviously can’t talk through other people for them. It definitely gives me reassurance knowing i’m not alone. I like to help people.
I’m still trying to set myself apart from other artists, everyday I’m working on perfecting my craft and trying to find my own sound.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I want everybody to know that no matter what it is you want to do. You are able to do it, whether it’s music, a business, painting or making fun youtube videos. You are able to making a living through doing it. You have to be determined to get where you want to be, it’s hard work but it is 100% doable, I’m still trying to be where I want to get, I used to doubt myself a lot. But I have no doubt in my mind anymore, I know I can do this. I want everyone else who has a dream to know this aswell.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me personally, just making the music and finding people who love music as much as I do, and having a community is a bigger reward than I could ever ask for.
