Alright, ZaNaria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Taking Risks involves doing the work when you are unsure of where it will take you. I began building my media platform, and myself as a multi-media journalist covering community and entertainment stories. Nobody noticed me until I was noticed, but this only happened with consistency and the grit to keep going.

ZaNaria Bowens is a community and entertainment Tv & multi media journalist, red carpet host, and founder of ZayangelitaTv, a digital media platform, 979 The Box ground running personality, and former multi media journalist at Hood County News, IndustreetsTv, and The Garnett Report. Admired for her passions in journalism and direct engagement in the community, ZaNaria’s demonstrative ability to storytelling has earned her support of a diverse following and support from businesses across platforms.
I am most proud of being a light for others, and helping clients, new businesses and those who do great work for their community shining their light.
With a dedicated following in the community and seen in interviews, the journalist is described by viewers as an inspiration and the ability to help others see their light.
Have you ever had to pivot?
I walked away from a full time position, and salary to narrate the stories that deserve to be heard.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Many times I showed up with no pay, but those opportunities later built my relationships with individuals that later needed my services.
